Background

Gigue recalls living for more than twenty years in another world before awakening in God Valley with knowledge resembling the world’s future history. Initially a powerless Celestial Dragon hunted alongside slaves, he sought the Paw-Paw Fruit as the best means of escaping with Kuma, Ginny, and Ivan rather than abandoning them. 1 2 564

During the God Valley Incident, he instead found and immediately consumed the Dark-Dark Fruit. He then helped secure the Paw-Paw Fruit for Kuma, establishing the group’s survival alliance amid the conflict between the Rocks Pirates, Marines, and World Government. 7 8

Gigue later entered the Marines alongside Ginny and Kuma under the name Darkseid Gigue. His Logia-type power and exceptional aptitude quickly made him one of Zephyr’s foremost students and the public face of the “Marine Supernovas.” 19 30 70
