Sno joined the Tarot Club as Mr. Devil while trying to use the Aurora Society and the official Beyonders to disrupt a plot involving Lanevus, the True Creator’s progeny, and a hidden manipulator. As Tingen went under lockdown, Sno warned Mr. A that the conspiracy might target the Church of Evernight and asked to return to Backlund.

• Dunn investigated Sno, who concealed his identity and motives while learning that Klein was connected to the Gray Fog.
• Sno prayed to Klein for help digesting his Secret Speaker Potion and warned him that the True Creator’s followers had planted a threat in Tingen.
• Sno joined the Tarot Club as Mr. Devil and traded information about Beyonder pathways for materials and assistance.
• Sno hired Klein to look for Lanevus and revealed that he suspected a Spectator was directing events in Tingen.
• Sno alerted Mr. A to a woman carrying the True Creator’s progeny, and Mr. A’s arrival drew the Red Gloves and other authorities into the city.
• Ince Zangwill rewrote his plan around the progeny and Mr. A, while Dunn mobilized the Night Watchers after Klein reported the threat.
• Sno told the Tarot Club about the Oracle, the progeny, and Tingen’s lockdown, then asked Trissy to warn Old Neil about The Hidden Sage’s corruption.
• Sno met Mr. A in the sewers and warned that the conspiracy might use the Holy Son to distract officials while targeting the Church of Evernight, then asked to return to Backlund.

Sno advanced through new potions and built a messenger contract while becoming entangled with Audrey, the Tarot Club, and the True Creator’s plans. As Ince Zangwill moved against Tingen and Klein survived an attack, Sno became Mr. A’s Listener and learned he would help prepare a living sacrifice.

• Triss warned Swain that Old Neil had been corrupted, while Sno returned to Backlund and presented Roselle’s Diary at the Tarot Club.
• Sno obtained the Sequence Eight Potion Formula from Lily, resumed his business, and waited to attend Eisinger Stanton’s gathering as Tingen came under Aurora Society attacks.
• At the Tarot Club, Sno offered potion formulas and took Alger’s commission to locate Zilingus, while Audrey sought a path to the Spectator Sequence Seven formula.
• Sno mingled at Viscount Grellint’s salon and covertly protected Audrey from the Psychology Alchemists, then used a contract-producing item to summon and name his messenger Dodo.
• Klein investigated the anomaly above Audrey and warned her about Sno’s protective influence, while Audrey learned from Grelint that Sno had an unsavory reputation and decided not to meet him.
• Klein made Flaring Sun Charms and delivered three to Sno through Dodo, while Sno explained his theory of potion Mental Remnants and the dangers of losing oneself in the Acting Method.
• Alger reported that Zilingus was in Backlund, Ince Zangwill used 0-08 to divert the Churches’ forces, and Klein crawled from his grave after surviving an attack.
• Mr. A told Sno to find Lanevus, prepared him a Listener Potion, and watched as Sno drank it and developed a reflex that made him leap onto the ceiling at horizontal objects.

Sno built the Aurora Society’s strength in Backlund, recruited followers, and took over Mr. A’s local branch while dealing with Xio, Fors, and Klein. Zilingus was killed, the factory strike continued, and Lily’s animal provocations spread into a borough-wide riot.

• Mr. A tasked Sno with rebuilding the Aurora Society in Backlund, and Sno recruited Jana as Foundation and appointed Victory and Glory to spread the faith.
• Sno met Xio, traded information about her father and Fors’s Full Moon Whisper for a contract-backed fee, and gave Xio his messenger’s incantation.
• Klein contacted Sno in Backlund, and Sno gave him a Spectator-shielding talisman after warning him about High Sequence Spectators.
• Mr. A left Backlund’s funds, properties, servants, and Extraordinary Items in Sno’s care, and Sno organized a Beyonder gathering as the branch’s new leader.
• Xio took a commission to protect Lavish during the workers’ strike, while Fors followed her and later attended Sno’s gathering as Mr. V.
• Audrey suspected Zilingus had disguised himself as Baron Gramir, and Klein warned her before sending the information to Mr. Hangman.
• Newsboys announced that Zilingus had been killed in Backlund, while Xio and Fors continued observing Lavish’s strike marches.
• Lily’s animal provocations caused a borough-wide brawl, and Ace Snake ordered the Mandated Punishers to continue investigating its cause.

Sno aided the workers’ movement, managed Lanevus’s growing connection to the True Creator, and helped Fors and Xio confront the danger of the Full Moon Whisper. The arc left Sno preparing for the Tarot Club while arranging to buy a Hunter Pathway Extraordinary Characteristic from Klein.

• Sno watched Glory’s labor movement spread through the West Borough, then left for training as workers joined the strikes.
• Madam Sharon captured Triss, but Sno used Pavlov’s Dog’s Consciousness Projection to guide Triss out of the manor and toward Backlund.
• Klein investigated Mrs. Meras’s residence, discovered signs of a hidden room, and anonymously warned the Church of the Storms about a dangerous creature there.
• Sno found Lanevus hiding from the True Creator and kept him at Mr. A’s home, where the god’s influence grew until Sno’s piano performance inspired the Aurora Society to adopt Katyusha as its hymn.
• At the Tarot Club, Sno shared knowledge about Beyonder Characteristics, while Audrey began teaching him piano and Sno continued playing for Lanevus.
• Xio and Fors confronted the risks of the Fool’s honorific name and the Full Moon Whisper, and Sno explained that the Fool could temporarily shield Fors but could not easily remove the Whisper’s source.
• Sno arranged protection from the full moon for a wary man connected to the Brave Man Bar, then agreed to buy a Hunter Pathway Extraordinary Characteristic from Klein for four hundred pounds.
