Hearing the voice, Tomohiro rose from his chair. "Clan Head Uchiha, what brings you here today?"
Uchiha Fugaku laughed heartily. "I really had nothing to do, so I came to chat with you for a while and mooch some tea along the way."
Tomohiro immediately got to his feet. "Of course, of course. I'll bring out the good tea leaves."
After a while, Tomohiro returned from the house carrying a tea set.
"Come on, let's go to the pavilion in the backyard. It's quieter there."
"Unfortunately, you came at the wrong time. The flowers haven't bloomed yet."
Uchiha Fugaku waved a hand. "It's fine. I didn't come to admire the flowers."
"Oh? Then why did Clan Head Uchiha come?"
Uchiha Fugaku got straight to the point. "I heard that Lord Amado's child is about to be born. I thought the Uchiha Clan ought to send a congratulatory gift, but I've been troubled over what exactly to give."
At that, Tomohiro fell silent as well. He had actually forgotten about that. If the Uzumaki Clan showed up empty-handed when the time came, it would be utterly embarrassing.
"Now that you mention it, I'm troubled too. Your Uchiha Clan is better off, with a more substantial foundation. Perhaps you can use this month to go to other countries and buy some
