It seemed to slowly increase Torikaze's strength. He did not know whether it was an illusion or not, but he liked the feeling.
Living a long life allowed one to witness many things. Hashirama probably had never imagined that he could live for so long, and that in the future he might practically escape death by old age altogether.
As long as his life force remained sufficient, he would never die.
Of course, such matters would change according to Hashirama's own will.
Perhaps one day, Hashirama would grow tired of his current life and decide to peacefully face death.
Or perhaps Hashirama would live on like this forever, witnessing Konoha Village's rise, decline, survival, and fall.
