Hogen's Training Plan

Konoha's future was settled as well.

It was as if a massive weight in his heart had been shattered in an instant, leaving him feeling much lighter.

"When will you bring Hogen back for a visit? I'll have your master's wife make something delicious."

"Sure thing."

Just as Torikaze was about to hang up, Hashirama reminded him again, "Don't train Hogen too intensely. He's at the age when he's growing, and excessive training won't do him any good."

"Don't worry, Shishou. I understand."

With that, Hashirama hung up at ease. He was in a great mood today. Losing a few rounds of game in exchange for such wonderful news truly left him feeling refreshed in both body and mind.

After hanging up, Torikaze reported the news to everyone who needed to know.

He did not intend to let all of Konoha know about Hogen's talent. It was enough for a few close relatives to understand.

Sometimes, receiving too much attention was not a good thing.

"Hogen, come test your Chakra nature."

Hogen finished his training and walked over from his meditation cushion to Torikaze's side. "How do I do it, Dad?"

Torikaze took out a piece of Chakra paper and held it before Hogen. "Release a trace of Chakra into this paper."

But Hogen had only just cultivated a trace of Chakra and had no idea how to release it.

Torikaze had to spend some time teaching him before he finally understood.

The results were more or less what Torikaze had expected: all five natures were present.

He likely possessed Yin and Yang natures as well, but Chakra paper could not test for those.

"Not bad, Hogen. Your talent can rival your father's back in the day!"

Hogen asked excitedly, "Really? Did Dad cultivate Chakra when he was three too?"
