Torikaze casually came up with an excuse to brush Amado off. "I suddenly gained some insight during the battle, then broke through."

Amado could not help curling his lips at that. That was no help to anyone else at all.

He had originally wanted to study whether technology could be used to advance to the Six Paths Level.

But he had not expected the Six Paths Level to be so casual—one could advance just by saying so.

"Big Brother, did you undergo any changes after advancing to the Six Paths Level?"

Minato asked curiously. He had been at the Kage-level for a year or two now.

Though he was still very, very far from the Six Paths Level, he should still have a chance.

Torikaze smiled. "There are plenty of changes. The first is my lifespan. After advancing to the Six Paths Level, my lifespan increased considerably. I should be able to live past a hundred."

That was not particularly useful to Torikaze. Just two Life Fruits could give him nearly another century of life, making the lifespan gained from reaching the Six Paths Level seem insignificant by comparison.

Minato knew about the Life Fruit as well, so he was not particularly surprised by the increased lifespan.

"And then? And then? It can't be just that, right?"

Torikaze shook his head. "Of course not. I'm not finished yet."

Then, Torikaze vanished before everyone's eyes. When he reappeared, he was already back at the dining table.

The moment their gazes locked onto him, Torikaze was once again lying leisurely in the rocking chair, humming a tune.

Minato had not even blinked. He stared so hard that his eyes nearly popped out, yet he still could not figure out what had happened.
