He had no idea that someone from Another World was currently in Konoha, and that the phones had been brought over by this outsider to carry out his own plan.
"Is it really that serious? Maybe Danzo's technology really did make a huge breakthrough."
Yamanaka Inoichi waved a hand. "Impossible. Even if Shimura Danzō made a major technological breakthrough, he couldn't possibly advance this much all at once. This simply isn't something our village could produce!"
With both of his friends saying so, Choza became uncertain as well. "Then what should we do? Destroy it? I'm a little reluctant—I haven't had enough fun yet."
Shikadai Nara rubbed his forehead. "Why destroy it? Even if there's a problem, that's the higher-ups' business. It has nothing to do with us. Just play your phone."
Choza gave an acknowledging sound, then laughed heartily. "All right, then."
Yamanaka Inoichi was deeply puzzled, but he had no idea what exactly was going on.
As for Shimura Danzō, the three clans certainly could not be said to approve of him very much.
After all, many of their clan's shinobi had been beguiled by Shimura Danzō into joining Root.
But hatred? There certainly was none. Those shinobi were not core members of their clans anyway; to the clans as a whole, they were merely expendable assets.
They had no impact on the bigger picture at all.
Thus, the three clans' attitude toward Shimura Danzō was neither flattering nor opposing him.
There was no need for them to offend Shimura Danzō over anyone, because, frankly speaking, all of Konoha's higher-ups were in the same boat.
Even if they sometimes argued, it was only a temporary disagreement of opinions.
If they truly offended or flattered Shimura Danzō because of this, neither would be a good thing for clans like
