Background / History

Earth Star's human potential was described as having been sealed from birth, with spirit qi serving as the key to unlock cultivation and evolution. Its martial development began late compared with established cosmic civilizations. Even after Spirit Qi Recovery began, Fang Yi regarded it as “a newborn infant” beside the wider universe. 6 372

Before full recovery, Earth Star was concealed and protected by the laws of the Great Universe. Foreign cultivators could reach it only unpredictably through unstable Jie Points, while the Boundary Sea and Mystic Domain restricted access between Earth Star and the outside cosmos. 305 306 345 347

Military investigations discovered that off-world humanoids had likely entered the Mystic Domain long before open contact. Corpses recovered from the No. 01 Forbidden Zone had nonhuman bone and blood composition, while their cell activity exceeded that of Earth Star’s Pioneers. 311

As the Boundary Sea began to dissipate and the Mystic Domain expanded, Earth Star became increasingly exposed to extraterrestrial civilizations. Fang Yi warned that outsiders could eventually lock onto locations on the planet and descend directly. 379

During Spirit Qi Recovery, the Earth God Tribe attempted to revive by parasitizing Earth Star, emerge from multiple hidden entrances, and conquer the planet. Huaxia and Fang Yi destroyed the tribe and seized its Martial Dao Crystal, gaining access to its accumulated martial knowledge. 385 387 393 394

The Earth God Tribe’s defeat drew wider interstellar attention. Nearby civilizations began watching Earth Star as a resource-rich, newly awakened world, while the Celestial God Civilization openly declared its intent to occupy the planet and enslave humanity. 401 407

The Celestial God Civilization subsequently attacked Earth Star with 333 warships. Its fleet was annihilated after the Light God Civilization intervened, and other observing civilizations retreated rather than confront Earth Star and Fang Yi directly. 409 416 418
