When he turned around, he saw that it was the class monitor, Fu Hua.
Seeing Fu Hua slightly out of breath, Ye Li knew she had come looking for him specifically.
But to avoid drawing the attention of the surrounding students, Ye Li still pretended to be puzzled. "Class monitor, did you need something from me?"
Fu Hua nodded in confirmation.

"Class monitor, thank you for covering the class fee for me. I'll definitely pay you back this month!" Ye Li deliberately said loudly.
The moment Ye Li finished speaking, he instantly felt many of the malicious stares around him disappear.
"As expected of my Lady Fu Hua. She's still as kind-hearted as ever."
"Phew~ I thought Lady Fu Hua had something going on with that boy~ Turns out I just scared myself."

After briefly catching her breath, Fu Hua gave the same answer as before.
"What?! Why would you come home with me?!" Ye Li cried in despair.
"I want to see what kind of environment you're living in now," Fu Hua said. "I simply can't accept that the savior of the world is living such a destitute life!"
Thinking about how the former savior of the world could not even afford the school's class fee now, Fu Hua felt a pang of heartache.
"Although my family isn't particularly well-off, I'll do everything I can to improve your life..."
At that point, Ye Li heard a hint of pleading in Fu Hua's voice.
"Sigh~ Hua, you really don't need to do this much for me." Ye Li covered his face. "These were all choices I made myself."
