Ye Li understood instantly and leaped into the air the moment Himeko activated her armor's thrusters.

The next second, a massive shockwave erupted from the greatsword, sending every nearby Honkai Beast flying.

In midair, Ye Li held his sword in one hand as purple sword light streaked like meteors, precisely tearing apart the enemies that had been blasted away.

"Not bad teamwork." Himeko pulled out her greatsword and stood back-to-back with Ye Li.

Her breathing was slightly hurried, but her tone remained relaxed. "I didn't expect that after all this time, your swordsmanship would still be so sharp."

"It's all right."

Ye Li flicked his blade in a beautiful flourish, knocking back a Honkai Beast that had tried to ambush him. His tone was indifferent. "You, on the other hand, are still as reckless as ever after all these years."

Himeko burst out laughing as lightning flared along her greatsword once more. "Reckless? This is called tactics!"

As the battle continued, their coordination grew increasingly seamless.

Himeko's greatsword moved with broad, sweeping strikes, every blow carrying the force of thunder.

Ye Li's longsword, meanwhile, was like a white rainbow piercing the sun, precise and deadly.

At times, they separated to fight on their own; at others, they stood back-to-back to defend together, firmly keeping the tidal swarm of Honkai Beasts at the edge of the deck.

Just as viewers in the real world began to think the situation was improving, the sky suddenly darkened.

A massive shadow enveloped the entire deck, and the air seemed to freeze solid.
