Gajeel's Iron Dragon Club struck the golden magic barrier. It felt like hitting an iron pillar, so solid that the violent recoil jolted his entire body.

Inside the barrier, Levy instinctively raised her hands to cover her ears, only to discover in surprise that not only had she suffered no harm within it, but even part of the sound transmitted by that powerful recoil had been blocked out.

"How is magic power like this possible? A barrier that even my fist can't break..."

It looked effortless, but Gajeel, facing that finger head-on, felt an enormous sense of terror and danger. His pupils contracted sharply. With a roar, he crossed his arms in front of himself, erupted with magic power, and did everything he could to block the incoming finger.
