Background / History
The God Realm is a half-spiritual, half-material divine world positioned above countless planes and planets. It was formed and sustained by Faith Power—called Thought Power within the realm—which is gathered from lower worlds and converted into energy for the gods, the realm’s stability, and its expansion. 111 653
Its earlier incarnation descended from the Divine Dragon Realm’s God Realm. Before the Dragon God’s rebellion, it possessed exceptional strength; afterward, the conflict devastated its foundation and left many divine positions vacant for hundreds of thousands of years. 652 812
Following the rebellion, the God Realm Committee imposed strict restrictions on nonhuman gods. Nonhumans were barred from ascending through cultivation, their divine positions were abolished, and native nonhuman gods in lower planes were hunted or suppressed. This policy preserved the realm’s control but stagnated the greater universe’s development and deepened the realm’s long-term crisis. 650 652
The realm’s dependence on stored Thought Power became a critical weakness. Most gathered Faith Power was consumed maintaining the God Realm itself; a disruption in faith, combined with a natural disaster or divine calamity, could cause the entire structure to collapse. 603 657
Structure and Governance
God Realm Committee
The God Realm Committee governs the realm, judges gods, enforces divine rules, and monitors the planes under its authority. Its central palace stands at the God Realm’s highest point. 653
| Position | Authority |
|---|---|
| God Kings | Hold the highest governing status; each possessed two votes in Committee decisions. |
| Law-Enforcement Gods | Supervise main gods and God Kings, may descend to lower realms under special circumstances, and each possess one vote. |
| Five Supreme Gods | Collective title for the two God Kings and three Law-Enforcement Gods; the three enforcers can jointly veto the God Kings. |
| Main Gods | High-ranking gods beneath the Five Supreme Gods, including the Sea God, Angel God, Goddess of Light, and God of Darkness. |
| Divine Officials and Patrollers | Lower-ranking divine beings without divine positions; excluded from the Gods’ Assembly. |
Gods’ Assembly
The Gods’ Assembly is an expanded Committee meeting attended by every god at Tier 3 and above. As divine positions are fused with the God Realm’s origin and comprise part of its structure, only gods possessing divine positions are regarded as the realm’s true masters and may attend. 654
Divine Positions and Faith
Divine Positions
A divine position is a materialized form of authority derived from the universe’s laws. Self-made gods may create a unique divine power from comprehended laws, resonate with the universe, and eventually condense a divine position; others may inherit an existing position. 650 652
- Inheritance allows rapid advancement to the position’s limit, potentially reaching main-god or God King status within decades or centuries. 644
- Existing positions can restrict a god’s ultimate potential if their original creators could no longer develop them. 651
- Divine positions are connected to the God Realm’s origin and help uphold its structure. 654
- Yan’s divine-kingdom method introduced the possibility of transforming divine positions into evolving divine kingdoms, potentially allowing the God Realm to become tangible rather than remain purely spiritual. 654
Faith Power / Thought Power
Faith Power is pure spiritual power produced by belief from living beings. It can create gods, nourish divine souls, support the refinement of divine positions, and stabilize or expand a God Realm. 111 651
- Lower-plane organizations, including branches of Spirit Hall, gather Faith Power for the God Realm. 603
- The God Realm stores surplus Thought Power when its gods cannot absorb it all. 657
- Stored Thought Power was used to reinforce the realm’s defensive formation against the Time-Space Turbulence. 657
- After its rebirth, the God Realm began actively unifying the faith of lower planes to strengthen itself and its gods. 831
God Realm Center
The God Realm Center is the realm’s supreme control mechanism. A ruler who accesses it can direct the God Realm and its defensive systems; it is normally activated only during a major crisis. 657
- The original Center could deploy stored Thought Power to reinforce the realm’s formation. 657
- Yan seized complete authority over the Center after forcing the remaining unsealed great rulers to temporarily leave the realm. 823
- During the Black Hole crisis, the centers of seven God Realms were merged into a new Great God Realm Center. 824
- The resulting golden Center contained immense, pure divine power. Yan absorbed its power, became the Divine Emperor, and obtained the Divine Emperor Scepter. 826
Major Arcs
Crisis over the Divine-Kingdom Method
Yan’s independent ascension and creation of the divine-kingdom path alarmed the Committee. Some gods viewed it as a threat because lower-realm gods could establish divine kingdoms without ascending, weakening the God Realm’s control; others recognized its potential to break the realm’s developmental bottleneck. 653 654
Time-Space Turbulence and Division
As the Time-Space Turbulence descended, the God Realm used its Center and stored Thought Power to defend itself. The Gold Dragon King’s god core, the Silver Dragon King’s assault, and betrayal from within then tore away a major portion of the central divine region. 657 660
Disappearance and the God Realm Cemetery
Unable to resist the spatial force surrounding it, the God Realm vanished into silver radiance. It later appeared among numerous stranded divine realms in a Black Hole, where the surviving gods considered merging and detonating their realms to escape. 661 812 813
Fusion into a New God Realm
After multiple God Realms collided, their physical forms dissolved into divine energy while their Centers were drawn together. The resulting Great God Realm Center enabled the realms to fuse into a much larger newborn God Realm, with chaos energy as its special foundation. 824 827
Rule of the Divine Emperor
Yan’s control of the new Center established him as Divine Emperor. Under his authority, the realm began consolidating lower-plane faith, appointing gods to responsibilities, and confronting devouring-energy planes such as the Scarlet Domain and Abyss Plane as threats to universal stability. 826 831
