Background / History

Flame lived alone in the Inner Earth beneath the Five Elements Continent. Though she knew of the outside world, warnings left by two monarchs made her deeply wary of the God Realm and unwilling to leave her domain openly. When Yan arrived carrying a divine aura, she initially considered killing him to preserve the Inner Earth's secrecy. 113 115

After learning that Yan was the Holy Son of Spirit Hall and a follower of the Angel God, Flame relaxed enough to hear him out. They made an agreement: Yan would keep the Inner Earth's existence secret, while Flame would return him to the Douluo Continent and allow future meetings. She marked him with a Red Lotus Mark that enabled their connection across worlds. 113 114 115

Yan's repeated visits ended Flame's long isolation. She asked him to bring objects and stories from his world, while becoming increasingly interested in the Soul Master system and Martial Souls. 114 115 169

Flame later became Yan's principal supporter in the Five Elements Continent. She provided him with Ultimate Fire, assisted his fifth soul-ring refinement, upgraded his second soul ring, and helped establish formations for nurturing dragon eggs. 169 183 184 186

After entering the Longinus Continent with Yan, Flame found a plane beyond the direct influence of the Douluo God Realm.
