Background / History
Ye Fan is born with the Desolate Ancient Holy Body, a premier physique whose Great Completion is said to rival an Ancient Great Emperor. His Sacred Body blood is innately awakened and possesses exceptional potential, though the physique’s cultivation path has been weakened by the world’s changing environment and curses from Forbidden Zone Supremes. 27
After leaving the bronze coffin in the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Zone, Ye Fan hears an ancient sutra, gains enlightenment, and consumes divine fruits that restore his youth. With Pang Bo, he shares the fruits and supplies they find with their former classmates. 115
During his Eastern Wilderness travels, he survives the Ancient Primordial Mines, obtains the Fourth Generation Source Celestial Master’s notes, and acquires Phoenix Blood Crimson Gold. He later gives both to Yan Kuan in gratitude. 159 Under the disguise Gu Feng, he gains recognition in Divine City for Origin Arts after cutting open rare treasures, including a Flying Immortal Stone and Ice Snow Source. 162
Ye Fan drifts through the starry sky for seven years after restarting the Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin with Black Emperor’s array patterns. He eventually arrives at Ziwei Ancient Star, reunites with Yan Kuan, and is sent to Tianyuan Ancient City to confront Primordial Ancestral Kings. 211
