Reinforcements for Parrham
In the Parrham Island Prison, more than a dozen sailor prisoners ganged up to beat up a Half-Elf prisoner. The reason was that the Half-Elf prisoner had taken the sailor prisoners' spot during exercise time, and the Half-Elf was beaten to the point of barely breathing.
More than a dozen sailors were arrested by prison guards. The ten leading sailors were not only whipped, but the rest of the sailors were all thrown into Confinement Room.
The prison returned to calm for a while.
In the early morning, the bolt on the iron door of the seventh solitary Confinement Room was cut open with a sharp dagger, and a wounded crew member crawled out. He was the lookout on the Golden Tangerine. The Torture Chamber was pitch black. Although he had drunk a bottle of Minor Life Potion, his wounds still ached so much that he was sweating profusely.
He groped his way in the dark and cut the bolt on the iron door of the adjacent solitary Confinement Room, pulled his companion out, and, enduring the pain, asked in a low voice, "Where is Boss Jeff locked up?"
"It should be the first one..." the injured companion replied.
The two quickly found their way to the door of the first Confinement Room, used their magic daggers to cut open the bolt, and Jeff, covered in wounds, crawled out.
First, he checked the package handed to him by his subordinate, took out two Minor Life Potion from it, and distributed them.
Then he took a bottle himself, pulled out the cork, and drank it.
Upon seeing the magic dagger handed to him by his subordinate, he examined it closely before letting out a cold snort, "This is the magic dagger Benjamin prepared for our prison break. He's certainly gone to great lengths for this escape. Let's go..."
After rescuing all the suffering crew members from the Confinement Room, Main Sail Jeff led the group of sailors out of the Torture Chamber and took the opportunity to slit the throats of the two Elven Guard standing outside the Torture Chamber.
The group walked through a narrow corridor and arrived at the suspension bridge. Turning left would lead them across the suspension bridge to the prison gate, while turning right would lead them to the underground cells of the prison.
After a moment's Jeff, Jeff, the Main Sail, led his crew toward the right-hand cell.
The subordinate quickly reminded Jeff:
"Boss Jeff, the exit is over there, where are we going?"
Jeff stopped in his tracks, not even turning his head, and said in a sinister tone:
"Do you think just the few of us can defeat those Elven Guard outside? Since it's a prison break, of course we should release all the prisoners to increase our chances of escaping. Leave two of you to keep watch at the exit, and the rest of you come with me to release them. Keep your voices down."
A group of crew members quickly followed Jeff...
The crew did not disturb the prisoners in the cell. They simply opened the iron door of the cell silently. When the alert prisoners woke up, some ran out and followed Jeff and the crew. Some prisoners did not want to take any risks, so even though the cell door was open, they obediently looked through the iron bars. Some prisoners were fast asleep and had no idea that the cell door had been opened.
Those prisoners who were able to wake up were all skilled Warrior Class, and more and more people were escaping from their cells.
This force quickly swept up to the second basement level and even obtained the Prison Key from the killed prison guards. This time, everyone split up and opened the cell doors even faster.
A group of crew members were still trying to rush to the third basement level of the prison, but Jeff stopped them directly:
"We have enough men. Follow me and storm the prison gates..."
Jeff and his group reached the suspension bridge, where two Half-Elf assassins sneaked to the other side and slit the throats of the two prison guards on night duty.
Jeff and his crew mingled among the prisoners, crossed the suspension bridge, and charged toward the prison gates.
The prison gate had double locks, but fortunately, the dagger Benjamin had given them was sharp enough to cut through all the iron bars and wire mesh on the observation window of the iron gate. The prisoners used this small observation window to break through the last gate of the underground prison and rushed up to the first floor of the prison tower.
At that moment, Main Sail sailor Jeff and a group of crew members rushed out of the prison's iron gates...
The prisoners in the cell saw countless prisoners rushing toward the suspension bridge. The prisoners who were originally afraid to run out of their cells became restless. Seeing the prisoners running outside their cells, more and more prisoners crawled out of their cells.
Once the desire for freedom grows in one's heart, it is hard to extinguish.
More and more prisoners are being released, and more and more prisoners are joining the ranks of those trying to escape.
The alarm bells at Parrham Prison rang incessantly throughout the night, while the prison guards in their dormitories on the second floor of the Cube Tower were still fast asleep...
When the prison guards, clad in armor and armed, rushed to the first floor, the prison gates had already been breached by the prisoners, and a fierce battle ensued in the inner courtyard of the first floor of the tower.
The Elven Guard in the prison were fully armed, giving them an overwhelming advantage over these unarmed prisoners.
However, these prison guards also had a fatal flaw: the elves were extremely afraid of death and, even though they were wearing heavy armor, they were unwilling to take risks in battle...
The prisoners had already reached the first floor of the tower. Everyone knew that freedom lay just outside the tower's gates, and at this moment, all the prisoners were willing to fight to the death. As long as the prison guards didn't stand in their way, these prisoners would rush straight for the gates...
Warden Prut was jolted awake from his dream by the sound of shouting and killing downstairs, and he quickly got out of bed.
While putting on his armor, he asked his assistant, who had rushed in in a panic:
What happened?
The assistant hurriedly replied, "The prisoners in the prison have rioted, and some of them have already stormed upstairs."
Before the warden could fasten his leather armor, he rushed out and stood on the third-floor terrace, looking down at the chaotic scene in the inner courtyard.
In the chaos, Warden Kels, leading a group of prison guards, had already stormed into the inner courtyard from the second-floor stairwell. However, facing the prisoners constantly rushing up from the basement, even if Kels transformed into a war god, for every prisoner he felled, another would immediately charge up from behind.
Kels ' armor was stained with thick blood, and the blade of his Storm Greatsword was bent, but the number of prisoners in front of him was increasing.
My companions have begun to get injured one after another, and one after another, extremely sharp arrows carrying elemental power fall from the building.
A large number of the prisoners in the inner courtyard immediately collapsed...
A group of archers stood on the second-floor terrace and began shooting the prisoners in the inner courtyard. These Great Elf Archer were the most elite troops in the Parrham Island Prison. More and more Great Elf Archer wearing leather armor and carrying Battle Shortbow appeared on the second-floor terrace.
The Elf Archer had absolute control over the inner courtyard.
Instead of foolishly rushing into the inner courtyard, the prisoners hid in the corridors surrounding it, and a large number of them broke through the first major gate connecting the inner courtyard to the outside.
Warden Prut saw the large number of prisoners pouring out of the underground prison, and then looked at Warden Kels, who was trying to fight his way to the main gate of the Cube Tower.
"Put the prisoners who have rushed up outside, cut the suspension bridge, close the prison gates, send out a distress signal, and wait for the army to rescue us."
Warden Prut wiped the sweat from his face and spoke decisively.
Upon receiving the order, Warden Kels immediately changed the battle plan, abandoning the attempt to stop the group of prisoners who had rushed to the outer gate of the prison. With the full cooperation of the archers on the second floor, they gradually suppressed the gate of the underground prison.
Roy was awakened from his sleep by a commotion outside. When he sat up in bed, he realized that it was just dawn...
Instructor Gru, dressed in leather trousers and a white shirt, was looking out the window with his hands on the windowsill.
The Pattington Town is nestled in a mountain crevice, so it gets light very late and dark very early.
The Half-Elf people enjoyed the slow-paced, leisurely island life, but the town was noisy at the moment.
What happened?
Roy ran to the window and looked outside with Instructor Gru.
Before Instructor Gru could answer, Instructor Nora rudely pushed the door open from the outside and shouted in the hallway:
"Something has happened at Parrham Island Prison. We've received a distress signal from there. Pattington Island is preparing to send a rescue ship. They're short-staffed on the island and are planning to recruit some soldiers. I'm going to apply to join the rescue fleet."
The doors to the other rooms opened one after another, and Christine was standing in the doorway, wearing a white silk nightgown.
"Roy, Sabrina, Christine, Ji Jilu, you stay on Pattington Island and wait. Gelu, Virgil, Elinore, Scarlett, and I are going to Prison Island to rescue them."
"Instructor Nora, let's go together. We also want to do our part."
Sabrina, already dressed in her leather armor, stood at the entrance to the corridor and spoke to Instructor Nora.
"No, we can't let you be in danger. You stay in Pattington Town and wait for us. Once the Silver Pegasus Warrior of the Seventeenth Legion arrive, things should calm down on Prison Island soon."
Instructor Nora rejected Sabrina's proposal without hesitation.
Then he turned to the other instructors and asked, "Gelu, Virgil, Elinore, Scarlett, are you ready?"
Several instructors, dressed neatly, came out of the room and stood in the corridor, staring at Instructor Nora.
"Let's go..."
Instructor Nora and her group walked out of the hotel, and the street was in complete chaos.
Roy and Sabrina chased after them from the hotel.
Instructor Nora looked at the two of them, Roy immediately raised his hand and said:
"We just wanted to see the instructors off..."
The group hurried towards the dock. Instructor Nora beckoned Roy and Sabrina to her side and whispered to them, "While we're away from Pattington Island, try to stay in the inn and don't go out or cause trouble. Also, please look after Christine and Ji Jilu for me. They are Silvermoon Elven Nobles and young people who have never been to Pattington Island before. They don't know that everything on Pattington Island is dominated by Half-Elf..."
Instructor Nora went on and on for a long time.
Upon arriving at the dock, they found that the ships originally used to transport supplies were now crowded with elves heading to Prison Island for rescue.
The dock was also filled with elves, all worried about the situation on Prison Island.
Instructor Nora and her group finally managed to squeeze to the front of the ship's deck and said to an Elf Warrior guarding the area, "We are instructors from the Castleton Elf Academy..."
Before Instructor Nora could finish speaking, the Elf Warrior stepped aside, inviting Instructor Nora and the others to board the ship, and said:
"Okay, welcome to the team."
