Guide
The treehouse in the hotel was very well decorated, and there were some oil paintings by artists hanging in the corridor. Roy thought that the wooden house built in the tree was no worse than those treehouses carved out of the tree trunk.
Not only does it offer a wide view, but you can also see a Green Sea on the opposite mountain ridge.
If you open a window in the room, a gentle breeze will come in.
However, not every room in this hotel has a bathroom.
Each treehouse has only two bathrooms, and only simple showers with lukewarm water.
However, as long as he has a shower, that's enough for Roy; he's the kind of person who can't fall asleep without taking a shower before bed.
Pushing open the door to the terrace, I found Sabrina leaning against the adjacent terrace, gazing into the distance.
She smelled of lilacs, probably because she had just taken a shower. One button was undone on her shirt, revealing a large expanse of fair skin beneath her full, rounded breasts.
Seeing that Sabrina seemed distracted, Roy leaned over and asked, "What's wrong?"
Sabrina had long since lost her initial wariness of Roy, and forced a smile as she said, "I'm about to start exploring this plane. I feel both nervous and excited; it's a rather complicated feeling."
Roy quickly looked up at Sabrina's fair face and asked with some surprise:
"Does Sabrina also have moments of anxiety?"
A lighthearted joke clearly made Sabrina's gaze seem murderous.
Roy took out a few fruits he had just bought at the Free Market, spread them in his palm, and handed them to Sabrina, saying, "Try them. I heard they're only available here."
This fruit, with its red juice, looks somewhat like a tomato, but the juice tastes just like a sweet plum.
Roy also told Sabrina something the stall owner had just told him, "You know what? The fruit here almost never appears on Pattington Island because they levy high taxes when you go through the Teleportation Portal here."
Sabrina moved closer and took a fruit from Roy's hand, tasting it in small bites.
The lips, glistening with juice, were exceptionally alluring, a vibrant red...
The way her turquoise eyes narrowed slightly was exactly like Moira's.
Hearing a knocking sound from next door, Roy said to Sabrina, "It sounds like there's a knocking sound..."
"Just pretend you didn't hear it and ignore it for now. If it's Instructor Nora calling us, she definitely won't knock."
After saying that, Sabrina smiled gently.
Anyone could see that Instructor Virgil took great care of Sabrina. Whenever they went to a new place, Instructor Virgil would knock on the door and give Sabrina something thoughtful.
Instructor Virgil had many admirers at the Elf Academy, and Miss Christine was quite fond of him.
Perhaps because she lived in the Lower District of Castleton City, Sabrina didn't have a good impression of the Silver Moon Elf.
Unfortunately, Instructor Virgil was a Silver Moon Elf.
After eating a red fruit, Sabrina licked her lips and then reached out and picked up another one from Roy's palm.
The two hadn't exchanged more than a few words, simply sharing the fruit Roy had brought over.
Fortunately, Instructor Virgil, who was standing outside the door, only knocked twice before quietly leaving.
The elves' dinner was really nothing to look forward to.
The fruit tea and several kinds of fruit looked very artistic when they were arranged on the plate, but they didn't feel very satisfying after eating them.
The members of the Elf Academy Adventure Group sat around the dining table, eating and chatting.
Instructor Nora wiped her lips, picked up her teacup and took a big gulp of apple juice, then said to Roy and Sabrina, "Roy, Sabrina, I'll take you two to see the Adventurers Guild here later."
"Okay," Roy and Sabrina agreed at the same time.
Clearly, Instructor Nora wanted to introduce the two of them to the Adventurers Guild, and Roy, knowing this was a rare learning opportunity, readily agreed.
Miss Christine sat next to Instructor Eleanor, her face expressionless, as if she hadn't heard Instructor Nora say those words at all.
After dinner, Instructor Nora led Roy and Sabrina away from the hotel. They walked through a clearing in the woods with little low vegetation, and then along a stone staircase for quite a distance before stopping on a bustling main street. The street was lined with shops and was crowded with elves.
Padesto is definitely much smaller Castleton, but its main street is even more bustling than Castleton's busiest shopping street.
The Adventurers Guild is also on this street...
Roy thought that Padesto's Adventurers Guild was no different from Castleton's Adventurers Guild.
As expected, the Adventurers Guild here is indeed a treehouse built on a large tree.
However, the building in the tree was a bit scary. The main structure alone was three stories high. The designer had practically built a small palace in the tree. After going up and down the spiral staircase several times, Roy finally reached the platform in front of the wooden house, where many elves were already chatting.
Many elves mingled among the crowd, constantly asking, "What's your profession? Planning to join a new Adventure Group? I have several Adventure Group that are short-handed, and the benefits and compensation are absolutely the highest in the market!"
Instructor Nora completely ignored the elves who came to chat her up and walked straight into the first-floor hall of the Adventurers Guild. The guards at the door saw the credentials that Instructor Nora showed and did not stop her at all.
Upon entering the Adventurers Guild's main hall, Roy found it even more bustling. The four walls were covered with blackboards filled with recruitment information and posted quests, while two notice boards had notes overlapping each other.
Many elves stood under the blackboard, carefully examining the information.
Unlike the other elves who went to the blackboard to check the information line by line, Instructor Nora walked to the service counter and said to the female elf clerk in front of the counter, "Give me a copy of the latest version of the Pattington Plane Map, the kind with all the resource markers."
"Two hundred Kole!" The elven waitress turned around and pulled a Parchment Scroll from the shelf, placing it in front of the counter.
Roy then realized that the shelves behind her were filled with these kinds of Parchment Scroll.
Instructor Nora readily handed over two hundred Kole, then put the map into her bag, before saying to the elf waitress, "I need a guide recommended by the guild!"
The female elf waitress then pulled out a booklet from under the desk and carefully flipped through its pages.
"The guild recommends local guides. The weekly commission is about one Magic Crystal Stone, plus a 5% bonus for each hunted prey. The guides only lead the way and find various resources and campsites for rest. If you need the guides to participate in the battle, you need to negotiate the exact amount of the commission privately."
"Can!"
Instructor Nora readily agreed.
The female elf waitress led Nora to a quiet seat and asked Instructor Nora to wait there for a while.
Immediately afterwards, a guide walked up to Miss Nora, bowed to Nora, and then sat down calmly.
