It is said that elves are the Child of Nature in the jungle and rarely kill in the jungle, but in fact, this only applies to the weak small animals in the jungle.

The elves will not let go of Tier 2 Magical Beast such as Blue Ice Deer, Petrification Lizard, and Spike-tailed Crystal Lion.

The leather of the Spike-tailed Crystal Lion is naturally light brown, and leather craftsmen can create beautiful dark brown patterns simply by applying a little acid to it. Therefore, Spike-tailed Crystal Lion leather has always been the most popular leather among young elves.

The elves don't like Petrification Lizard skin because it's too thick, and making Light Leather Armor would require layering the leather, which is very troublesome.

Blue Ice Deer is a type of monster leather that many elf girls prefer.

The leather boots made from it have a natural blue color with ice flowers, and when magic is infused into the boots, crystal snowflakes will surround them as you walk.

The Tines Village is built on a hillside in a wooded area, with many treehouses hidden in the dense treetops. If you don't look carefully, it is difficult for outsiders to find this small village in the forest.

Guide Majeri said that two Blue Ice Deer had recently appeared near the village, and Miss Scarlett immediately wanted to try her luck at the Cold Pond, as did the others.

Led by guide Majeri, everyone left Tines Village along a small path. The woodland here was not overgrown with weeds, and the path was not too difficult to walk.

The Pattington Plane is covered in jungles, and the forests are very damp, so green moss grows everywhere, making it very slippery no matter where you are.

A fluffy-tailed squirrel leaped from the top of one oak tree to another with remarkable agility.

There are also quite a few grouse in the woods. Just walk around and you'll see them fluttering up and flying away. They can't fly very far, at most three or five hundred meters before disappearing into the bushes.

Roy's mouth watered just thinking about catching one, even if it was just to build a fire and roast it.

Unfortunately, the elves don't eat these beasts and birds, so Roy had to abandon his plans for the time being...

Guide Majeri kept introducing the forest's specialties along the way. This forest was home to a Elementary Magic Herbs called Silverleaf Grass. The elves of Tines Village mainly gathered Silverleaf Grass in the mountains and fields around the village and then sold it to caravans.

Along the way, everyone saw several Silverleaf Grass, but these Silverleaf Grass had all been harvested by the elves, leaving only a few roots. However, some new shoots have sprouted from the roots, and it will take at least a few months for these Silverleaf Grass to mature.

Silverleaf Grass is very easy to identify; one side of its leaves has a pale silver hue. This Magic Herbs is said to have a wide range of uses.

Instructor Nora didn't intend to collect these unripe Magic Herbs. She just wanted Roy, Sabrina, and Miss Christine to get acquainted with them. Perhaps they had seen dried Silverleaf Grass in herb shops, but they also needed to know what it looked like in the forest.

Guide Majeri even explained how to collect this Silverleaf Grass: simply cut off the upper part with a knife, leaving some roots, and the Silverleaf Grass will grow back in no time.

Besides some Elementary Magic Herbs, there are also many berries in the mountains and fields. Some are light red, some are dark purple, some are slightly poisonous and will cause stomach pain if eaten in excess, and some are sour and astringent and very unpalatable.

As we walked through the forest, our guide, Majeri, was a very competent botany teacher, constantly introducing us to the various plants in the woods.

These berries and berries nourish the small animals in the forest.

Guide Majeri also found a wild pear tree. He quickly climbed up the tree and picked a few pears. Although they weren't very sweet, they were quite juicy and very thirst-quenching.

After crossing a not-so-high hillside, the Tines Village immediately disappeared from everyone's sight.

Not far away, white mist swirled, looking like a fairyland. Guide Majeri pointed to that spot and said to everyone:

"That is the Cold Pond. Because the water there is icy cold all year round, and the forest is quite humid, it is always shrouded in mist. The whole forest is the same. Once you go in, it won't be long before you are covered in dew."

As they spoke, they had already reached the edge of the white mist.

The mist also carried a chill. Roy touched a bit of the white mist with his arm, and it immediately clung to his clothes, leaving damp patches.

The trees shrouded in white mist were also wet, with many leaves dripping water. This grove of trees was constantly dripping with water, and the soft moss underfoot was also wet.

They walked into the misty forest, where the fog made it impossible to see very far.

They could only follow one after another. Roy, Sabrina, and Miss Christine were sandwiched between the instructors, while guide Majeri walked in front.

Our guide Majeri, wasn't very familiar with the area. After searching for a long time, he finally spotted a Cold Pond at the edge of a giant rock. The swirling white mist was rising continuously from the Cold Pond and spreading outwards.

The group arrived at the edge of the Cold Pond. Due to the fog, visibility was no more than five meters, so even if the Blue Ice Deer appeared here, it would be difficult for them to spot it.

The water in the pool was very clear. Instructor Nora squatted by the Cold Pond and put her hand into it. Perhaps because the water was too cold, she immediately pulled her hand back.

"This water is so cold!" Instructor Nora exclaimed.

Roy noticed that the water in the pool right next to the boulder had even frozen into some ice crystals. It seemed that everyone who had come here had a layer of fine water droplets condensed on their leather armor, and if you touched it, the leather armor would immediately become wet.

Guide Majeri told everyone, "There are at least seven or eight pools like this in this forest. It is because of the existence of these Cold Pond that the temperature of the forest is much lower than the surrounding area, which is why there is white mist. The villagers of Tines Village saw the two Blue Ice Deer here, but they turned around and hid in the white mist, and they couldn't catch up with them."

Instructor Eleanor circled the Cold Pond but found nothing.

"Should we split up and look for them separately?" Magician Scarlett said somewhat reluctantly; she had always wanted a pair of Blue Ice Deer leather boots.

The Blue Ice Deer is an ice-attribute magical beast, and Miss Scarlett is skilled in Ice Magic, so this pair of leather shoes would be of great help to her...

"Scarlett, Christine, Sabrina will be in one group, while Elinore, Virgil, Gelu, and Roy will be in another. We'll split up and wander around in the woods, then meet up here. If you can't find this place, everyone should leave this Mist Jungle and wait at the spot where we just entered the Mist Jungle. Got it?"

"Understood!" everyone said.

"Which group am I with?" guide Majeri asked.

"You can come with us." Instructor Nora didn't hesitate and told the guide to follow them.

Roy's group consists of four people: Instructor Virgil, Instructor Gru, and Roy are all male elves, while Instructor Eleanor is a female elf, but she serves as the team Instructor Eleanor.

The two teams parted ways at this Cold Pond; one team ventured eastward, while Roy's team ventured westward.

The forest was shrouded in white mist, making it unlikely that one would find the Blue Ice Deer. However, this area was probably rarely visited by the elves of Tines Village. As a result, Instructor Eleanor found several mature Spirit Gathering Grass and Kudzu Root in the Mist Jungle, which brought some unexpected surprises to this trip.

"Everyone says that the Pattington Plane produces Magic Herbs, and it seems that's true!" Instructor Eleanor said with delight.

Instructor Gru tried to climb a big tree, but the trunk was too slippery, and he almost fell off...

Even if he stood in the tree, he couldn't see very far.

Instructor Eleanor removed her hand from a tree and said to everyone, "We can't find any information except for the thick white fog."

The team wandered around the Mist Jungle for quite a while, and when they felt it was about time, they prepared to return to the edge of the Cold Pond to regroup. They searched for a long time before finally finding the Cold Pond, but Instructor Nora and her group had not yet returned.

Instructor Eleanor noticed that a patch of bushes by the Cold Pond was covered with bright red berries, and she suggested to everyone:

"Or we could just pick some more berries."

Instructor Gru wiped his long, wet hair and said somewhat impatiently, "Let's wait for them outside the white fog; it's cold and damp here!"

Instructor Eleanor looked at Virgil and Roy and asked them, "What are your plans? Will you wait here, or outside the Mist Jungle?"

Roy was practically invisible, so he couldn't possibly have any opinions. But it would be nice to collect some berries, since he was already soaking wet anyway.

"Then let's wait outside. We can even build a campfire to dry off the moisture on our bodies..."

Instructor Virgil smiled and made the suggestion.

Instructor Eleanor didn't say anything more and went back the way she came. Before long, she walked out of the Mist Jungle, which happened to be the entrance where the Adventure Group had just entered the Mist Jungle.

Here you can see the swirling mist seemingly swallowing everything...

After emerging from the fog, even breathing became much easier.

The four members of the squad waited there for Instructor Nora and her team. Sure enough, Instructor Virgil had built a campfire in the woods, and everyone gathered around the fire to dry their clothes.

Instructor Gru was the first to stand up. He held Battle Shortbow in one hand, bent his body slightly, and leaped lightly onto a large tree.

Clearly, the three instructors had been working together seamlessly. Instructor Eleanor and Instructor Virgil stood up immediately, and Instructor Virgil even poured a pot of water onto the newly lit campfire, instantly extinguishing it and sending a large amount of steam billowing out...

Instructor Eleanor leaned against a tree, looking up at Instructor Gru in the tree.

Instructor Gru made a gesture to Instructor Eleanor, but the direction was not the Mist Jungle.

Roy suspected something was wrong, and his heart raced instantly. He followed Instructor Virgil and hid behind another tree.

Roy peeked out slightly, and right where the instructors' eyes met, several Goat-headed Monster appeared. They wore extremely simple leather armor, and large Wooden Stick covered in thorns hung from their belts. Two Goat-headed Monster were lifting a log together, on which a wild boar with several arrows stuck in it was tied, and blood was dripping from the boar's body...

Roy was startled and rubbed his eyes hard. He found that they did indeed have furry sheep faces with two curved horns on their heads. They looked very strong, with hands that looked no different from those of elves, but their feet were still hooves, making a thumping sound when they walked.

Instructor Virgil was right next to Roy and gestured for him to be quiet.

There were six Goat-headed Monster in total. Only the first two were carrying the wild boar, while the other four kept looking around...

Instructor Gru in the tree had already drawn his bow and aimed at the foremost Goat-headed Monster. When they got close, he decisively fired an arrow. The arrow, carrying a trace of Wind Elemental Power, streaked through the air and accurately struck the eye socket of the foremost Goat-headed Monster, piercing through its skull.

The Goat-headed Monster immediately fell backward, blood spurting from its eye sockets.

The log on his shoulder fell to the side, and the wild boar tied to it fell to the ground.

The sudden turn of events left the other Goat-headed Monster -Goat-headed Monster somewhat bewildered. They all looked in the direction from which the arrows had come, and almost simultaneously untied the large Wooden Stick from their waists, held them in their hands, and pounced towards where Instructor Gru was hiding.

Instructor Gru, having fired his first arrow with confidence, immediately fired three more in quick succession. However, this time the Goat-headed Monster were on guard, and none of the three arrows hit their vital points.

The arrows struck the Goat-headed Monster, and they actually let out howling noises...

Instructor Eleanor and Instructor Virgil drew their swords and leaped out from behind the tree to engage the five Goat-headed Monster.

Roy, wielding a scepter and shield, followed closely behind the instructor and joined the battle.

Roy stood before a Goat-headed Monster, three arrows still lodged in his shoulder and chest, but this did nothing to hinder his fighting...

He saw Roy rush over, swinging the large Wooden Stick in his hand and smashing it down hard.

Roy couldn't dodge in time and raised his shield to meet the attack.

With a 'clang', a tremendous force traveled through the shield to Roy's arm. Despite the various buffs from the Magic Inscription Construct, Roy still felt a tingling sensation in his arm.

That Goat-headed Monster is incredibly strong.

The Goat-headed Monster's hairy face was inches away. Roy saw that its eyes were bloodshot, and its face had a vicious smile on it—it looked as eerie as could be...

He knocked Roy back two steps with his club, and blood gushed from the arrow wound on the Goat-headed Monster's body.

Roy readjusted his body and found that his left arm, which was holding the shield, was completely numb. The Goat-headed Monster charged again, Roy could only grit his teeth and swing his scepter to parry the massive Wooden Stick that was coming down...
