Slave Traders Jones was tied alone to a pillar at the top of the wooden cabin stairs. His abdominal wound had reopened, and blood kept gushing out, the thick blood flowing down his legs along his belly.

He was in pain and terrified, and in his panic, he only begged Instructor Nora not to kill him.

Jones was worried that he would bleed to death, so even though he was tied to the pillar, he kept crying out "ouch, ouch".

Instructor Virgil, who was standing by, grew somewhat annoyed and called Roy over...

During this raid on the Lakeside Cabin, Instructor Nora was willing to suffer minor injuries in order to kill all the Slave Traders in one fell swoop.

She knew that these Slave Traders were certainly skilled, and if she didn't use swift and decisive methods to demoralize them, the battle would become very troublesome if it dragged on.

If it weren't for the instructors stopping her, Instructor Nora probably would have killed Jones, who was tied to the pillar in front of the stairs, as well.

Instructor Nora sat on the blood-stained sofa, having removed her Magic Inscription Construct armor. She was only wearing a tight-fitting vest, revealing her eight-pack abs – a physique rarely seen among female elves.

Roy squatted to one side. He first washed the wounds with holy water, then treated them with ' Minor Healing ', and finally bandaged all of Instructor Nora's wounds.

Then, at the beckoning of Instructor Virgil, he went to the Slave Traders Jones and treated his abdominal wound.

Instructor Gru and Instructor Eleanor worked together to break the lock on the basement door and pry open the large wooden door. A wave of stench rushed out.

The basement was filled with darkness. Instructor Eleanor, carrying a candlestick, led the way down the stairs, followed by Instructor Gru, who carried Battle Shortbow and warily looked around.

Both of them found the stench in the basement unbearable. As Instructor Eleanor lit a torch on the wall, a corner of the basement was illuminated.

The cold iron cages that had been placed in the basement were gradually revealed in the firelight.

The cage was filled with Half-Elf, some of whom were completely Half-Elf, staring blankly at the firelight.

"Those damned Slave Traders deserve to go to hell!"

Instructor Gru couldn't help but let out a curse.

Instructor Eleanor drew her longsword from her waist and slashed it hard at an iron chain, which fell to the ground with a thud.

Instructor Eleanor slammed open the rusty iron door and shouted to the Half-Elf inside, "Come out now, you're free..."

Upon hearing Instructor Eleanor's confident shout, the Half-Elf in the numerous iron cages sprang into action, gripping the bars with both hands and vying to look at Instructor Eleanor at the cellar entrance.

"Waaaaah..."

Some of the female elves immediately let out heart-wrenching cries, while some of the Half-Elf shook the locked iron gate with all their might.

The Half-Elf in the cellar looked at Instructor Eleanor.

The Half-Elf in the first cage looked at Instructor Eleanor suspiciously, tentatively climbing out. After climbing out of the iron cage, they stared at Instructor Eleanor and walked up the stairs step by step.

Perhaps they had been in the iron cage for too long, because even when climbing stairs, they hunched over, and had to support themselves with their hands on the steps.

Instructor Eleanor felt like she had a huge rock stuck in her chest. She slammed down an iron door, and that made her feel a little better...

After breaking the locks on eight iron cages in succession, the Half-Elf climbed out of the cages one after another.

Following behind Instructor Eleanor, Instructor Gru made no move. He remained cautiously vigilant of his surroundings, scrutinizing even the Half-Elf that crawled out of their cages.

Woods, with his arms injured and his face bruised and swollen, was curled up in the iron cage. The moment Instructor Eleanor opened the cage, tears welled up in his eyes.

Instructor Gru reached out and lifted Woods out of the cage, smiling as he said, "You really have to thank Roy for this. Last night he discovered you were missing, so he and I went to the Fountain Square to look for you, but we couldn't find anything. This morning, we all rushed out to look for you. Luckily, we have a particularly reliable Elf Ranger in our Adventure Group. If it weren't for her desperate attempts to communicate telepathically with every oak tree in the city, we wouldn't have found this Apple Orchard. Fortunately, Goddess Luck was on your side, which allowed us to find you so easily from those Slave Traders."

Woods choked up, too excited to speak, and could only nod vigorously.

In a small cellar, there were more than thirty rusty iron cages, though not all of them were filled with Half-Elf.

There were at least twenty iron cages containing Half-Elf slaves, some large enough to hold four people. Woods was lying alone in one of the cages.

Instructor Eleanor opened all the iron cages that held the Half-Elf slaves, allowing the Half-Elf to walk out down the stairs.

The Slave Traders Jones was tied to a pillar, and the Half-Elf passed by him without daring to even glance at him.

The bodies of the other five Slave Traders were neatly laid out on the floor in front of Jones, each of Slave Traders wrapped in a blanket.

These Half-Elf slaves rushed out of the Riverside Cabin and plunged into the night without looking back.

As the Half-Elf slaves passed by their instructors, they looked at each one with grateful eyes...

No one spoke, not even the simplest "thank you".

Instructor Nora watched the departing figures of the Half-Elf and simply sighed softly.

These Half-Elf showed no sign of wanting to report the Slave Traders to the Guard Squad in Padesto City, perhaps because they were used to being submissive, or perhaps because they felt the Elven Guard were of no help to them.

Roy was squatting in front of the Benjamin the Mage, staring at the Benjamin the Mage was bound like a dumpling, and laboriously dragging off his very valuable magic robe. Because of the ropes binding his body, the whole process was very troublesome.

He also took off the money pouch and Magic Pouch from Benjamin the Mage's waist and put them into his pocket with a smile.

Memories surged forth before Roy's eyes like a river bursting its banks.

He first met the Benjamin the Mage at the Deep Water Dock of Castleton Harbour. Back then, Roy occasionally worked as a guide. He first led the Slave Traders to an inn, and then to a bar. It was there that they killed Jefferson and then made their escape.

I saw Benjamin for the second time on the Back Street of the college, when all the crew of the Golden Tangerine were waiting to be sentenced by the court.

The third time he saw him... he was right next to Abbott. Although Roy didn't realize it at the time, now that he thinks about Abbott... it's not hard to understand why Abbott would be so heartless as to kill Jasper.

Benjamin the Mage stared calmly at Roy, his face pale despite the arrow wound in his shoulder. He remained silent, simply staring coldly at Roy.

"Tell me, where is Abbott?"

As Roy spoke, he grabbed the arrow shaft stuck in his shoulder, which made the Benjamin the Mage grunt.

A layer of greasy, fine sweat appeared on his forehead.

" In the Pattington Plane, we got separated, and I don't know where he went."

Benjamin thought that whether he spoke or not, it wouldn't change his impending fate, so he might as well be tough, even though the excruciating pain in his shoulder made him tremble all over! Roy gripped the arrow shaft and pressed it in forcefully.

The unbearable pain caused Benjamin to let out a hysterical scream.

Miss Christine stood behind Roy, staring at the Benjamin the Mage. She hadn't forgotten what had happened on Pattington Island, when the human wizard stood out among the prisoners.

He had originally intended to come over and slap Benjamin the Mage a few times, but seeing him lying on the ground howling hysterically, his tightly clenched fists loosened.

Instructor Nora walked over, took Roy's hand, and whispered to him, "Send them to the court first and let them face the judgment. Don't let hatred blind us. Roy, you must always stay rational."

Roy nodded; he knew that even if he pressed further, the Benjamin the Mage wouldn't tell the truth.

A Magic Wagon was parked outside the Riverside Cabin, but the driver had disappeared.

The instructors strapped Jones and Benjamin to the rack at the back door of the carriage, Instructor Gru drove the train, and the rest of the train was crammed inside.

Roy's body was almost completely pressed against the car window, with Sabrina sitting next to him, so that with every bump...

Roy could feel the firm, soft flesh hitting his shoulders.

The carriage moved slowly at night, and the road was very quiet.

Besides the sound of horses' hooves, there was only the creaking of the axles as the cart bumped along...

The slaves of those Half-Elf had all disappeared; we hadn't encountered them along the way.

Instructor Gru drove the carriage back to the Padesto City. The most distinctive feature of the elves' new city was that it had no City Wall; they always built their cities based on a giant Tree of Life.

At that moment, the entire city seemed to have entered a dream...

Instructor Nora was still pondering how to find the Guard Squad of Padesto City when a group of Elven Guard came rushing towards them. They rode pure white warhorses and wore standard armor, looking very dashing.

Upon seeing these Elven Guard, Instructor Nora immediately shouted to Instructor Gru:

"Gelu, stop for a moment. Let's hand those two over to these Elven Guard!"

Instructor Gru quickly pulled on the reins and stopped the carriage by the roadside.

When the Elven Guard stopped in front of the carriage, Instructor Nora opened the carriage door and stepped down...
