Roy looked down at the holy light shining in his palm and immediately became alert.

Whenever there was danger lurking nearby, Holy Light would send out a danger signal. He looked at the rows of Wooden Box crates and shelves, and the dark warehouse was silent.

Roy stopped and said to the Elf Warrior was about to light a torch:

"We still have a few Gemstone Mine to take. Let's bring those ores over and put them into storage together!"

"Why don't we push these ores over there and store them first, and then bring the rest over?" an Elf Warrior immediately questioned.

"Let's just bring them all together..."

Roy stepped forward, put his arm around the Elf Warrior's shoulder, and pushed him out of Second Warehouse.

Although they didn't know why Roy insisted on doing this, the three Elf Warrior weren't stupid. They all walked outside together, and after Roy closed the door to Second Warehouse, Roy whispered, "I think something's wrong with the warehouse. Stephen and I will guard the door. You two go and call for help. Everyone be careful."

The three Elf Warrior' expressions changed. The Elf Warrior named Stephen stayed behind, while the other two Elf Warrior quickly ran up to the top of the fortress.

When Captain Yalige left the mine, she not only took away a large amount of supplies, but also more than 300 Elf Warrior. Now there are less than 200 Elf Warrior left in the mine, and these Elf Warrior are scattered in various parts of the fortress.

The defenses at the mine are somewhat weak, and everyone is waiting for reinforcements from the Valley Camp, but unfortunately there has been no movement for the past two days.

Although the two Elf Warrior had some doubts about what Roy said, it was better to believe it than not.

So the two Elf Warrior quickly notified the other Elf Warrior teams.

Eighty-odd Elf Warrior quickly donned light armor, grabbed their weapons, and ran out from the various rooms. These were all the Elf Warrior remaining in the mine, except those on duty.

Everyone gathered at the entrance of Second Warehouse.

Captain Jones and the other scouts who had stayed behind also rushed over.

Captain Jones inquired about the situation from Roy, and after discussing it with the other captains, a group of archers carrying Elf Longbow quickly jumped from the second floor onto the roof of Second Warehouse.

Second Warehouse was built on the first floor of the fortress. Although it was integrated with the fortress, it occupied a considerable amount of space.

Roy adjusted his Magic Inscription Construct and cast ' Strength Blessing ' on his other companions. After the Magic Inscription Construct was activated, magical light would occasionally diffuse through the Thick Leather Armor.

Since it was the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad that discovered the situation in Second Warehouse, the Elf Warrior of the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad were required to be at the forefront.

Captain Jones, dressed in a set of Light Armor and holding an Iris Shield, stood closest to the warehouse entrance.

Another Elf Warrior wielding Dwarf Chain Shield stood opposite him, both leaning against the wall.

Roy, carrying the Hammer of Judgment Book and holding the Holy Scepter, followed behind Captain Jones.

Behind them was a group of Sword Dancer wielding swords in both hands.

The warehouse door was slowly pushed open by two Elf Warrior. Captain Jones and another elven knight with a shield rushed into the warehouse at the same time, and the two slowly searched forward along the narrow passage of the warehouse.

At the same time, a dozen archers who were crouching on the eaves also crawled into Second Warehouse through the air vents and took up the most advantageous positions in the second-floor corridor.

Three Highland Headhunters burst out of the narrow passageway of Second Warehouse, three sharp spears whistling through the air as they thrust towards Captain Jones. Captain Jones had been on high alert ever since entering the warehouse.

Both sides were prepared when they encountered each other. When they saw the Highland Headhunters thrust his spear at them, Captain Jones and another Elven Knight simultaneously raised their shields to block.

The spear struck the shield with a thud.

The passageways inside the warehouse were extremely narrow, making it nearly impossible to dodge attacks from the opposite side. Even when using shields to parry, one dared not deviate too much. The Highland Headhunters were skilled with spears, and their sudden thrusts almost knocked Captain Jones to the ground.

Fortunately, Roy's ' Strength Blessing ' amplified Captain Jones's strength, allowing him to barely withstand the Highland Headhunters's attack from the front.

The Elf Sword Dancer standing behind immediately rushed up from the gap and slaughtered the three Highland Headhunters standing at the front.

Roy, holding the Hammer of Judgment Book, used the ' Hammer of Judgment ' to smash a Highland Headhunters to the ground, leaving the elven knight next to Captain Jones dumbfounded.

As the Highland Headhunters surged forward, Roy held up the heavy ' Hammer of Judgment Book ' to block the three spikes of the spear.

Elf Warrior and Highland Headhunters clashed in a chaotic battle in the narrow warehouse passageway.

The Highland Headhunters, armed with sharp blades and spears, charged forward recklessly, but the passage was somewhat narrow, and both sides were stuck in the warehouse passageway.

If the battle takes place in a valley with complex terrain, the Highland Headhunters can use his physical advantages to dodge and maneuver, and suppress the group of Elf Warrior.

However, in such a battle across narrow terrain, the advantage of superior equipment and martial arts skills will naturally come from who has the better equipment.

Two elves stood in front, shields in hand, their ' Strength Blessing ' boosting their strength by a small level, effectively blocking the Highland Headhunters.

The elven Elf Sword Dancer, wielding Dual Swords, charged into the battlefield like a meat grinder, forcing the Highland Headhunters to retreat repeatedly.

A dozen or so Elf Archer stood atop the warehouse, their longbows proving invaluable, raining down arrows incessantly. The Highland Headhunters, trapped in the warehouse's passageway, quickly gave up their struggle.

Some Highland Headhunters also tried to climb to the top of the Wooden Box.

Several arrows flew over, and several hunters were hit by multiple arrows and fell off the Wooden Box. The Highland Headhunters then ran backward.

Caught between the Highland Headhunters, Grantham Grantham mine owner was constantly bumped into by the hastily retreating hunters. He could only lean against Wooden Box to avoid falling into the passageway.

Seeing the Highland Headhunters at the front lying in pools of blood, the Grantham mine owner ignored the excruciating pain in his knees and turned to flee towards the secret passage.

The hunters who lagged behind were held back by the Elf Warrior. Seeing that they couldn't escape, their inherent fierceness made them turn around and fight.

Captain Jones originally wanted to press his advantage, but he was blocked by the Highland Headhunters who turned back to fight. Even though the arrows falling from above turned the Highland Headhunters into hedgehogs, the group of Highland Headhunters did not retreat a single step.

Roy, holding the ' Hammer of Judgment Book ', leaned against the shelf and threw the ' Hammer of Judgment ', knocking down several Highland Headhunters in succession.

Captain Jones used his shield to block the spear thrust by the Highland Headhunters, then thrust his longsword forward, severing Captain Jones Highland Headhunters's hand cleanly.

A Highland Headhunters lunged at him from behind, his spear suddenly thrusting out from behind. Captain Jones couldn't retract his shield, and his longsword couldn't block the spear thrusting at him. He could only twist his body to try and avoid vital organs.

Roy stood behind Captain Jones, watching as the Highland Headhunters thrust his spear forward. He seized the opportunity to block the spear with the ' Hammer of Judgment Book ' and slammed the Holy Scepter in his hand hard into the Highland Headhunters's forehead.

The Highland Headhunters collapsed straight down in front of Captain Jones...

There weren't many Highland Headhunters left in front of them. Although the warehouse was somewhat dim, the Elf Archer on the roof threw several torches into the passage, instantly making it bright.

Roy saw a familiar figure slowly slipping into the Secret Passage; it was Grantham, the mine owner.

"Captain, I saw the Grantham mine owner..." Roy whispered, following closely behind Captain Jones.

Captain Jones's expression changed drastically, and he continued his pursuit, stepping over the corpses of the Highland Headhunters.

However, several severely wounded Highland Headhunters in the passage fought desperately, clinging tightly to Captain Jones's legs, refusing to let go even though they had been stabbed more than a dozen times.

When Captain Jones caught up with the entrance to the secret chamber, all that remained in the warehouse were the corpses of the Highland Headhunters.

Some of the Silver Moon Elf Warrior were injured this time, but they had the best hemostatic ointment and high-quality Life Potion, so they could be saved with just a bandage.

Inside the deep cave were piles of rubble. Captain Jones threw his torch in, but found it pitch black and he couldn't see how many ambushes were lying in there. He didn't dare to continue the pursuit, so he ordered the Elf Warrior to block the entrance with stones and sent two Elf Warrior to guard the secret exit of Second Warehouse.

Then, with a somber expression, he walked out of Second Warehouse.

In this battle, several Elf Warrior from the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad were injured, and they bandaged their wounds outside the warehouse.

Captain Jones patted Roy on the shoulder and whispered to him, "Well done, Roy!"

After saying that, Captain Jones huddled together with the other captains to discuss the upcoming battle.

More than one elf spotted the Grantham Mine Lord at the Secret Passage, which meant that the Grantham Mine Lord had escaped from the Logistics Regiment and was now entangled with the group of Highland Headhunters.

Since they were able to sneak through the Secret Passage, they must be trying to storm the mine fortress.

The captains of the dozen or so reconnaissance squads became somewhat nervous and quickly ordered their Elf Warrior to increase manpower for night patrols.

After arranging the defenses of the fortress, Captain Jones, carrying his shield and looking exhausted, walked to the mine. At that moment, Roy was carrying a large Wooden Box full of food and ale down into the mine.

The cantilever support next to the mine was making creaking and groaning noises.

"Roy, since you're a Priest, you don't need to rush to the front during battle. Just stand at the back and swing your hammer at those Highland Headhunters," Captain Jones instructed Roy as he sat by the well.

"Understood, Captain," Roy replied as he turned the winch.

The winch spun rapidly, even making a whooshing sound as it cut through the air.

"Tonight won't be peaceful, so all of you better be on your guard!" Captain Jones took a swig of diluted Tree of Tree of Life Sap and gave the Elf Warrior of the Tenth Reconnaissance Squad an order.

"Yes!"

The four Elf Warrior agreed.
