Roy's Self-Introduction
As Roy led a squad of Half-Elf Warrior up the mine, they would always see several Gray Dwarf Gray Dwarf haphazardly at the mine entrance, all of them lying in pools of blood, almost all on the verge of death.
He could only have the Half-Elf Warrior carry the Gray Dwarf Gray Dwarf out of the pools of blood, find those who were still breathing and had a heartbeat, and then treat them when he had time to spare.
The Half-Elf Warrior chased after them for a long distance along the mine before finally spotting a dozen or so Gray Dwarf standing back to back.
Almost every Gray Dwarf held a pickaxe and Stone Hammer, constantly swinging them in front of them. Their eyes had turned blood red, and several Gray Dwarf lay in pools of blood in front of them.
A squad of Half-Elf Warrior had already arrived, but because the enemy outnumbered them, they refrained from making a move.
What's wrong with them?
The Half-Elf Warrior who came with Roy secretly asked his companions if they had arrived a little earlier than them.
"They're going crazy from the Dark Moon Elves..." a Half-Elf was among the first to arrive whispered.
These Half-Elf all came from the Second Mine, so they naturally knew how terrifying these Dark Moon Elf were.
Roy waved to everyone, and a group of Half-Elf Warrior surrounded them. The Gray Dwarf dropped their weapons and surrendered!
The ten Dark Moon Elf are still hunting down the fleeing Gray Dwarf.
Roy, leading a squad of Half-Elf Warrior, captured some more Gray Dwarf.
Perhaps these ten Dark Moon Elf were too ruthless, for the number of Gray Dwarf corpses they encountered along the way always exceeded the number of living Gray Dwarf...
In just over half a day, the battle in the mine ended. The Gray Dwarf in the mine suffered heavy losses, and only half of the more than one hundred Gray Dwarf survived. Among the survivors were some seriously wounded Gray Dwarf whom Roy had pulled back from the brink of death, and they could take their last breath at any moment and return to the embrace of the Creator.
Looking at the wounds on the corpses of these Gray Dwarf, Roy was speechless. These Dark Moon Elf were always capable of fatal wounds, whether it was a kidney shot, a backstab, or a throat slit. These wounded Gray Dwarf would really have to rely on a bit of luck to survive.
A Half-Elf Warrior carrying Carbide Lamp ran quickly out of the mine.
He went straight to Roy's side and whispered to Roy, "Boss, we've found the Dark Moon Elf trapped in the mine, but many of them are injured and in a bad situation."
Roy abandoned the Gray Dwarf he was trying to save; his heart tubes had been severed, and he was only alive now because of his strong physique.
Roy then asked the Half-Elf, "Where are they? Take me there quickly..."
"Yes, Boss!" the Half-Elf Warrior said.
Now, the way these Half-Elf refer to Roy is somewhat confusing.
Back in the Second Mine, some Half-Elf liked to call Roy "Lord Roy," but now these Half-Elf Warrior call Roy "Boss."
The Half-Elf walked very fast, and Roy struggled to keep up.
They ran deep into the mine before finding a mine entrance. The Dark Moon Elf had retreated into a mine shaft. These Dark Moon Elf looked very thin and weak, clearly not living a comfortable life underground. When they saw Roy leading a group of armored Half-Elf towards them, they quickly bowed to Roy.
Roy didn't see the ten Dark Moon Elf Dark Moon Elf Elves...
Entering this somewhat secluded Mine Road, the Dark Moon Elf standing outside were mostly in good health. But as you walked further in, you saw some injured Dark Moon Elf lying against the rock walls.
The Half-Elf leading the way didn't stop; he continued explaining to Roy as they walked:
"These Dark Moon Elf only suffered minor injuries. They look rather unwell, largely because they haven't eaten in a long time and are too weak!"
The thought of the powerful Dark Moon Elves at the Second Mine made Roy feel a little incredulous.
The Dark Moon Elves of the First Mine have gotten themselves into this predicament... How did they do it?
The further you go in, the weaker the Dark Moon Elf will become.
Roy walked deeper into the mine and discovered that a stone slab was covered with a layer of linen cloth, on which lay a Dark Moon Elf. A bloody hole the size of an infant's fist was visible on the shoulder. Although the blood had stopped flowing out of the hole, the area around the wound was almost blackish-purple.
There was only one Carbide Lamp in the mine, and the light was very dim. Fortunately, a Divine Light floated above Roy's head, allowing him to clearly observe the wound.
The wound is infected and very serious. The Dark Moon Elf is also running a fever and has fallen into a deep coma.
"Boss, this is Chieftain Captain Lambert of these Dark Moon Elf. He was injured in a battle with the Gray Dwarf a dozen days ago, and his injuries are quite serious now. Although we just gave him Life Potion, it didn't have any effect," the Half-Elf introduced quickly.
Surrounding Captain Lambert were a dozen or so Dark Moon Elf. They were all very surprised to see Half-Elf Warrior escorting a young human as they walked in.
At this moment, Roy, unfazed, stepped forward and said, "My name is Roy, and I am the Mine Owners of this mine. There has been no production from the mine recently, so I came down to take a look. Would you mind if I took a look at his injury?"
Roy's last sentence was directed at the Dark Moon Elf lady beside the stone bed, revealing that her relationship with Lambert was unusual.
The Dark Moon Elf lady stared at Roy, her thin face devoid of color, but her gaze showed no sign of wavering.
"Mine Owner Roy, do you know first aid?"
Her throat was damaged; her voice was dry and hoarse.
"I'm not good at first aid, but I have this..."
As he spoke, Roy took out a small glass bottle of Tree of Life Sap from his pocket. Although the bottle was only about half the size of an egg, it contained undiluted Tree of Life Sap.
Upon seeing the Tree of Life Sap, radiating a rich aura of life, almost all the Dark Moon Elf ' gazes fell upon Roy's palm.
The burning light in their eyes suggested they wanted nothing more than to snatch the tiny bottle away.
Several Half-Elf Warrior silently surrounded Roy. They had come from the Second Mine and had no goodwill towards the Dark Moon Elf...
Roy took a step forward and said to the Dark Moon Elf lady, "I suppose you wouldn't mind if I used some divine magic to heal his wounds?"
As he spoke, Roy stretched out his other hand, holding a ball of holy light in his palm. Although the light was incredibly soft, it was extremely dazzling in the dark cave.
The Dark Moon Elf in the cave was even more astonished by Roy's expression...
Roy didn't offer any further explanation. He narrowed his eyes slightly, and as a prayer ended, the divine runes Roy had drawn were filled with a sacred aura. As the runes dissipated, the sacred aura that had been condensed instantly transformed into a pillar of light, enveloping Captain Lambert's wound.
The beam of light then continued to expand outwards, eventually completely enveloping Captain Lambert's body.
Leaves formed from divine energy continued to fall around Roy, illuminating the entire cave with this holy light...
Behind Roy, the faint silhouette of a sacred tree appeared.
Under the holy light, the bloody hole on Captain Lambert's shoulder visibly swelled up rapidly, and some of the pus and blood on the wound turned into wisps of black smoke and quickly dissipated, seemingly purified by the holy light.
As the wound returned to its normal color, the flesh at the edges of the wound began to slowly wriggle and shrink at a visible rate.
The Dark Moon Elves standing nearby couldn't help but gasp; such a healing effect could only be achieved by the High Priest of the Dark Moon God Temple...
The Holy Light Pillar lasted for only about thirty seconds before gradually disappearing before Captain Lambert's wounds had fully healed.
Roy bent down to examine the remaining wound on his shoulder and said:
"Thankfully, the recovery is going quite well!"
After saying that, he placed another cup on the stone platform and poured a drop of Tree of Life Sap from the small bottle he was holding in his palm.
The sap was precisely dripped into the cup. Roy then added some water to the cup and brought it to Captain Lambert's lips, supporting his chin with his hand so that he could drink the diluted Tree of Life Sap.
Captain Lambert's originally ashen face gradually regained some color.
His breathing was no longer as weak as before.
The Dark Moon Elf lady looked at Roy with gratitude in her eyes, and the expressions of the Dark Moon Elves around her were no longer so serious.
Roy stood before a group of Dark Moon Elf and said, "Let me introduce myself again. My name is Roy, and I am now the Mine Owners of this mine. Do you know what I expect of you?"
Seeing that all the Dark Moon Elf in the mine were looking at him, Roy said:
"My only requirement for you is that you work hard and dig for me in the mine!"
Roy paused for a moment, then instructed the Half-Elf Warrior beside him, "Prepare some food for them, and bring down some tents and blankets from the warehouse. Oh, and linen clothes too..."
Roy walked out of the mine where the Dark Moon Elf were temporarily residing, babbling on and on about various instructions.
