Battle of North Fjord, Part 2

The Magic Airship whose main mast had been thrust high into the air by the water column merely had a huge hole exposed in its belly. Its hull had not fallen apart, and the Floating Devices mounted on the brackets along both sides had not been damaged. Not only had it not crashed, it had even broken free of the Faceless Overlord's restraints.

Magic Airship Thirteen completed its turn high in the air, presenting its left flank toward the Faceless Overlord. All four Whaling Ballistas were aimed at it.

Magic bolts shot out one after another. There was no need to aim; the Faceless Overlord was simply too massive.

Four Magic Crystal Arrows flew toward the tentacles binding the other Magic Airships. These magical bolts, containing the painstaking efforts of countless Silver Moon Elf craftsmen, possessed tremendous power. One bolt pierced through a thick tentacle, and the runes on it lit up one after another, their glow swallowing the entire bolt.

Then dazzling ice crystals grew from the arrow shaft. The crystals rapidly condensed across the tentacle, wrapping around the several-meter-thick appendage...

One, two, three, four...

Petals of ice crystal blossomed across the Faceless One's tentacles. Huge crystal rings appeared on them, and as those rings connected, the thick tentacles were completely purified...

The Priests aboard the other five Magic Airships were all casting exorcism spells on the tentacles wrapped around their vessels.

The Faceless Overlord had originally wrapped its tentacles around the six Magic Airships in an attempt to drag them from the sky. Later, when it discovered that it could not do so with its strength alone, it tried to use brute force to pull the floating Magic Airships together and make them collide...
