The news brought back by the Chieftain of the Zano Hak Clan left Roy somewhat disappointed. The Lord of Gomez City had no desire whatsoever to deal with Half-Elves.

During the Empress Ivini Islands campaign, the Naga and the Silver Moon Elves had fought for decades. The Gomez Legion, which had served as the vanguard, suffered the worst losses. Some Naga tribes had even lost all their Naga Warriors and been forced to relocate to the waters near Gomez City.

The Lord of Gomez City held many prejudices against elves.
