The Black Pearl had landed near the southern side of the harbor. The ocean-going Great Sea Ships here were already filled with Gray Dwarves preparing for a long journey. Crowds of Gray Dwarves carried daily supplies aboard via narrow gangplanks, while even more were packed onto the ships. Roy could see Gray Dwarves cramming the decks, coming out for fresh air.
There were Gray Dwarves of every age and gender on the decks, and the scene was exceptionally chaotic.
Perhaps because they were about to leave their homeland, perhaps because they revered the sea, or perhaps because they were lost over their future lives, the Gray Dwarves aboard the ocean-going ships seemed extremely irritable.
Roy had only taken a few casual glances when the Black Pearl landed at Boles Harbor, yet he had already spotted two fights.

The buildings throughout every district were packed tightly together, and many were linked by passageways on the second floors or rooftops. The city's roads were a tangled maze. Other than Cross Street Intersections and gardens within the city, there was not a single plant to be seen on the streets.
