At a time when most Gray Dwarves were preparing to abandon Durag's Knee and head for Galuo Island in the Seven Realms Sea, a young Half-Elf had actually brought together the Half-Elves and the White Sheep Tribe beastmen from the Mensa Plain, arriving in Valeria to tell the Gray Dwarves preparing to board ships and leave Boles City:
"I came here to make a bold move. Our elves and beastmen will form a joint army and hold Presites at the western end of Valeria Valley."
To the Gray Dwarf Officials gathered in City Hall, it was nothing less than enormous irony.
The homeland the Gray Dwarves had abandoned—what did these Half-Elves have to defend it with?
And there was even a group of White Sheep beastmen who knew nothing, joining in on the excitement...
Yet they had come, and the Gray Dwarves had to receive them warmly. They even had to discuss with them how to hand over Boles City, ensuring that these Half-Elves received the entire city and the shipyards along the coastline.
In truth, aside from a great deal of lumber piled up there, nearly everything that could be taken from those shipyards had already been removed.
There had not been enough ships for this great migration to begin with. The Northern Army Fleet had fought two naval battles in the Mensa Strait against the Half-Elves' Mine Guard Army and lost a large number of vessels.
Furthermore, they could no longer count on the ships of the Gray Dwarf Bandits in the Kui Island Sea. That was the true reason the Gray Dwarves lacked oceangoing vessels.
It was this group of Half-Elves that had firmly cut off the Gray Dwarves' southern sea route...
And now they were sitting across the dining table, preparing to take over the Gray
