"Little one, we meet again."
After arriving at the hut, Bouncing was clearly much happier than Luan.
Hagrid brought out some dried insect treats, while Fang carried it around as it frolicked everywhere.
Watching the two pets play so happily, Hagrid turned to Luan.
"Good thing you came today. Otherwise, I really wouldn't have known what to do with these two little ones."
As Hagrid spoke, he brought out two flowerpots from beneath the hut's eaves. They were the Water Bottle Grass Luan had given him to get rid of insects.
Now that the pumpkins had entered harvest season, the lids of the Water Bottle Grass had completely closed.
"You really don't need to worry. This grass loves cold, damp environments, and this place is just right for it."
Luan took the flowerpot and looked into the Water Bottle Grass's tubes, which were densely packed with insect corpses.
"I see. I even went to Madam Pince to borrow some books, but I couldn't find anything about this plant."
Hagrid's words made Luan's heart tighten.
Water Bottle Grass was not a plant from this world, so of course he could not find it.
Fortunately, Hagrid had not pursued the matter. Otherwise, Luan would have had to make up more explanations against his conscience.
"You don't need to look up any information. This grass is highly adaptable. It goes dormant in winter to nurture its seeds, and next spring, even more of them will grow."
"That's good. They really helped me out this year. The pumpkin harvest has been the biggest it's ever been."
As he spoke, Hagrid placed the two flowerpots back beneath the eaves and gently stroked the well-fed flowers.
"Don't worry, little ones. If your colony gets bigger next year, I'll find you a good spot in the Forbidden
