The Dragon God's setting followed Douluo 4. Ultimate Douluo was, after all, a sequel, and in its attempt to whitewash the God Realm, the dragon clan had completely become a joke.
Moreover, the most interesting part of Douluo 4 was the setting of the Cosmic Laws. It seemed to be the universe's heavenly will: it would not permit the Dragon God to become a God Star, so it killed the Dragon God; it would not permit the Crimson Mother to become a God Realm, then it had Lan Xuanyu become the Dragon God and kill the Crimson Mother.
