What delighted and disappointed Ron at the same time was that Scabbers was fine.

After lying on Tierra's lap for a while, he got up full of energy and affectionately rubbed against Tierra's palm.

Peter's mind was rather confused at the moment.

On the one hand, he knew that he was Peter Pettigrew, a shameful traitor and a Death Eater of the Dark Lord. But on the other hand, he felt that the young wizard before him was so great that he could not help but gladly submit, as though Tierra were the most powerful wizard in the world, someone worthy of worship.

Peter Pettigrew was not a strong-willed person. After being confused for a while, he surrendered to this new feeling, seeing Tierra as the greatest, most unstoppable wizard, and could not help rubbing his head and neck against Tierra's palm like a real rat.

"All right, go back to your master." Seeing that Peter Pettigrew had already been affected, Tierra sent him back to Ron.

Peter Pettigrew returned to Ron's arms somewhat reluctantly.

He could not disobey Tierra's orders.

"I'll go wash my hands." With that, Tierra stood up. Though it had been necessary for the experiment, having a balding middle-aged man rub all over his hand still made Tierra feel a little sick.

By the time Tierra had scrubbed his palms and arms back and forth with soap five times, Harry and Ron had already been chatting for quite a while.

Without Tierra interrupting them, the two of them seemed to have become much more familiar with each other.

When Ron's later conversation no longer revealed anything interesting, Tierra silently took out his copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them again and continued reading.

At around half past twelve, loud clattering and commotion came from the corridor. A smiling, dimpled woman pushed open the compartment door and asked, "Dear, would you like to buy anything to eat?"

Harry had not eaten anything that morning, so he immediately jumped up. Ron's ears reddened again, and he muttered quietly that he had brought sandwiches.

Just like in the original story, Harry, who had hardly ever eaten snacks growing up, took out a handful of Silver Sickles and bought a little of every snack on the woman's trolley.

Ron stared fixedly as Harry carried the food he had bought into the compartment and dumped it all onto an empty seat, looking like he wanted to eat it but did not dare touch it.

Once Harry had returned to the train compartment, he invited Tierra and Ron to have some with him.

Tierra took a metal lunchbox from his bag. It was packed full of rice, braised pork with bamboo shoots, shrimp and eggs, and garlic stir-fried lettuce.

Tierra placed the lunchbox on the train table, took out his wand, and lightly tapped the lunchbox with it.

A faint red flame burst from the tip of his wand before quickly disappearing.

Before long, a rich aroma poured out from the lunchbox.

"You can use magic!?" Harry stared at Tierra with wide eyes.

"Mm, a little." Tierra nodded. "I practiced on my own for a month during Summer Vacation and learned it."

The spell Tierra was using now was called the Heating Charm, which he had learned from the copy of Standard Book of Spells: Grade 1 he had just bought.

Unlike the Flame Charm, the Heating Charm did not produce an open flame, but it could raise an object touched by the wand to the desired temperature.

Of course, this mainly depended on the wizard's control. Some young wizards could still start fires if they did not control it properly.

If Demolition Expert Seamus had done it, this lunchbox would probably have turned straight into a hand grenade.

Ron took out the corned beef sandwiches his mother had made and shared them with Tierra and Harry.

The three of them had a very pleasant lunch, and Harry and Ron could not stop praising Tierra's lunchbox.

But the two children still preferred candy to lunch.

So in the end, Harry and Ron ate their fill of candy, while Tierra only ate a few Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and Chocolate Frogs.

Tierra had long passed the age of liking candy. He preferred a balanced diet.

But that made him seem rather strange in Ron and Harry's eyes.

What child did not like sweets?

Just then, someone knocked on their compartment door. Tierra had just used a Cleaning Charm to wash and put away his lunchbox when a chubby little face poked inside.

"Sorry." The simple-looking boy was so anxious he was nearly crying. "Have you seen my toad? It's about this big..."

As he spoke, the young Gryffindor Swordsman gestured with his hands.

"No..." Harry and Ron shook their heads at the same time.

Neville's face immediately fell, and tears were already welling in his eyes.

"I lost him again! He always wants to run away from me!" Neville cried.

"He... he'll come back," Harry comforted him.

"I don't understand why he's in such a hurry," Ron said after Neville had left. "If I had a toad for a pet, I would not be able to wait to get rid of it."

Harry nodded, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

Scabbers fidgeted restlessly on Ron's lap, constantly wanting to run toward Tierra. But under Tierra's intimidating gaze, Peter Pettigrew could only stay obediently on Ron's lap.

"Hey, Tierra, your Muggle medicine really works," Ron said. "I've never seen Scabbers this lively."

As he spoke, Ron pulled a very old wand from his trunk.

Parts of the wand had peeled away, revealing some silvery-white spots.

"This wand was left to me by my brother Charlie... It's a bit old... I hope it still works... Hey, do you want to see me turn him yellow?" Ron said excitedly. "Since Scabbers is so lively, I don't have to worry about killing him if the Charms goes out of control."

Just as Tierra and Harry nodded, the compartment door was suddenly pulled open. The boy who had lost his toad had returned, but this time a little girl stood beside him.

The girl had a face full of freckles, bushy hair, and a pair of not very noticeable buck teeth.

Both of them had changed into their Hogwarts robes.

The instant Tierra saw the girl, he felt a weight lift from his heart.

Thank goodness, she wasn't Black.

Tierra thought this to himself. Though this girl was only eighty or ninety percent similar to Emma Watson, she was indeed purely white.

Tierra had been afraid that he had transmigrated into some strange stage-play world.

Fortunately, judging from the appearances of these people, it should be the storyline he was familiar with.

"Have any of you seen a toad? Neville lost a toad," she said, sounding rather arrogant and condescending.

"We already told him, we haven't seen it," Ron said, but the little girl ignored him completely and only looked at the wand in his hand.

"Oh. Are you casting magic? Then let us have a look."

With that, she pulled Neville over and sat down.

Ron was clearly startled and somewhat at a loss.

"Oh... all right..." Ron cleared his throat and pointed the tip of his wand at Scabbers.

"Daisy, sweet cream, and sunshine, turn this stupid fat old rat yellow!"

A yellow light shot from the tip of his wand, but nothing happened.
