Mirror of Erised

Unlike Tierra, who had been studying and absorbing knowledge at a frantic pace during the Christmas Holiday, Harry seemed rather idle.

Not only did he not join the twins' snowball fights, but even when Ron invited him to play Wizard's Chess, Harry seemed distracted.

Every day, Harry looked forward to nightfall.

When resting at night, Tierra spent half his time reading books or secretly recording and analyzing the magic within the diary.

Thus, Tierra knew perfectly well that every night, Harry would quietly climb out of bed, put on his Invisibility Cloak, linger by Tierra's bedside for a while, then softly make his way toward the stairs leading downstairs.

That day, Harry found his way to the abandoned classroom with practiced ease.

Once again, Harry saw his parents smiling in the Mirror... and an old man with a long beard...

"So, you've come again, Harry?" the long-bearded old man said, sitting atop an abandoned desk with his legs swinging.

Harry felt as if all his organs had frozen into ice.

He immediately turned around and looked behind him. The long-bearded old man sitting at a desk against the wall was none other than Albus Dumbledore.

Harry must have walked right past him earlier. He had been too eager to look into the Mirror and had not noticed Dumbledore at all.

"I-I didn't see you, sir," Harry said nervously in a low voice.

"How strange. You're the one wearing an Invisibility Cloak, not me," Dumbledore said with a smile.

Seeing the smile on Dumbledore's face, so similar to the one Tierra often wore, Harry could not help but relax.

"So," Dumbledore said, sliding down from the desk and sitting on the floor beside Harry, "like the hundreds who came before you, you have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Erised."
