"Hermione, I'm telling you, this is absolutely not normal!" Harry hurried over to Hermione and said, "Malfoy has definitely not been acting normal lately!"
Hermione was reviewing her lessons in the library.
Ever since Tierra had found an excuse to kick her out of the research group refining the Philosopher's Stone, Hermione had been down for a while. But she quickly pulled herself together and began teaching herself several courses she had not taken this term in the library, applying to take their final exams as well—
This was a special arrangement Tierra had made for gifted, hardworking students like Hermione.
Under normal circumstances, a course's final grade consisted of sixty percent coursework and forty percent exam score. As long as students did not miss classes and turned in every assignment, they could basically get full marks for coursework.
But if they did not attend class and instead applied to take the exam directly before exam week, then the course's final grade would be based one hundred percent on the written exam.
Besides the courses she was already taking, Hermione had also directly applied to sit the exams for "Introduction to Magical Experiments," "Analysis of Advanced Transfiguration Principles," and "Introduction to Extraterrestrial Magical Races."
So when Harry found Hermione while whispering in a voice that almost everyone could hear, Hermione could not help sighing.
Hermione looked up and saw the anxious expression on Harry's face. She set down her book, did her best to suppress her irritation, and asked with concern, "Harry, what is it? What has Malfoy been doing that's so abnormal?"
"I've noticed that Malfoy has been acting strangely lately. He keeps leaving the dormitory by himself and often sneaks around late at night." Harry sighed heavily, sat down beside Hermione, and said quietly, "And he's become more
