Xiao Wu waits to graduate from Notting City Junior Academy alongside Tang San and receives recognition as one of its outstanding students. Liu Long and Boss Xiao had regarded her as their “Big Sister,” so Sun Sheng crippling them during the graduation challenge angers her. She initially intends to confront him herself, but Tang San asks her to stand back. 2 4

After Sun Sheng defeats Tang San, Xiao Wu immediately enters the arena to avenge him. Her attack fails when Sun Sheng restrains her, though her Charm briefly disorients him and allows her to land a Waist Bow kick before Tang San tells her to withdraw. 6

Reunion in the Star Dou Great Forest

Xiao Wu reunites with Sun Sheng in the Star Dou Great Forest while traveling with the Shrek Seven Devils. Seeing him act affectionately toward Tuo Bayue makes her unexpectedly jealous, particularly because Sun Sheng had previously declared his interest in her. 30

When the Titan Giant Ape Erming appears, it takes Xiao Wu away despite the Shrek group's resistance. Xiao Wu later orders Erming to pursue Sun Sheng as revenge for offending her; however, she also orders Erming to retreat once Ghost Douluo appears, showing concern for Sun Sheng's safety despite their hostility. 35 36

Conflict with Tang San

After condensing her third Soul Ring, Xiao Wu is approached alone by Sun Sheng. He recognizes her Soul Beast identity and fabricates a story that he was raised by a transformed Soul Beast, then claims Tang San knows her identity and wants her Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring. Xiao Wu is unsettled by the accusation but initially refuses to accept it. 37 38

Sun Sheng subsequently ensures that Xiao Wu witnesses Meng Yiran kiss Tang San. The sight shakes Xiao Wu's trust and sparks a confrontation, during which she refuses Tang San's explanation and temporarily leans toward Sun Sheng. 38 39

Despite her anger, Xiao Wu protects Tang San from Sun Sheng's descending staff strike. After Meng Yiran explains the kiss, Xiao Wu gives Tang San an ultimatum: choose between her and Meng Yiran. Tang San chooses Xiao Wu, restoring their bond. 40
