Glittering ice crystals spread along the edge of the forest, trapping a group of Aurors from various nations inside the outermost Ice Wall as they prepared to break through the ice together and escape.

Ogden was one inconspicuous member among the many Aurors, but in the next second, they were buried beneath a sky full of blizzards. Then his chest tightened, and he sank into darkness. By the time light returned to his vision, the snow had stopped.

He was hiding among a group of Aurors frozen into ice sculptures, standing out all too clearly.

"Hey, I'm Penguin." Beneath the Ice Wall, a young wizard stood there, smiling at him. "My friend, you're pacing in place like that. What trifling worry is troubling you?"

"You know me?"

Ogden carefully crouched behind an Auror frozen into an ice sculpture and raised his Wand before him, his hawk-sharp eyes fixed on the flamboyantly behaved man in front of him. This fellow who called himself Penguin did not look like anyone decent, yet in Ogden's memory, he should only have been the editor-in-chief of The Quibbler, a man dreaded by governments of various countries. His danger came only from statements that might cause chaos; not a single piece of intelligence had ever indicated that he was a powerful wizard capable of stopping so many Aurors.

Penguin stood in place with his legs apart. A layer of pale frost had formed over his slightly rising and falling chest, and from his slightly parted mouth, hot breaths emerged evenly, quickly condensing into white mist in the air. He wore only a black-and-white vertically striped suit without much in the way of accessories, and the moiré pattern caused by the dense stripes made Ogden dizzy as he stared at him, but Ogden still did not dare
