Ye Lan casually came up with an excuse to brush it off.
He still didn't want others to know that he had the Sharingan, nor did he want them to look at him differently. These Ninjutsu belonged to him alone; it was enough for him to know about them. That way, when others didn't understand his abilities, he could catch them off guard in battle. Besides, although Kakashi was Ye Lan's teacher, he didn't want to reveal all his trump cards to him.
Moreover, possessing the Sharingan was practically taboo in the Naruto World, at least judging by the current timeline.
Or rather, in this Ninja Village, Sasuke was the only person known to possess the Sharingan. Yet Ye Lan had somehow acquired one as well. Seeing that he had no objections, Kakashi said, "All right, then. I'll take you to your room first."
Kakashi led Ye Lan west for a while, then stopped in front of a building resembling an inn. "This is the place. It's somewhat like a guesthouse. Most of the people staying here are ninja from other villages. The place I arranged for you is reserved for Jonin, so you'll have a room to yourself, and the conditions should be pretty good. Kakashi casually waved a hand. "It's only natural. After all, I'm your teacher, aren't I?"
