Rainbow (Part 2)

Xiao Jing gave Rainbow a lecherous glance, then impatiently waved his hand at Ichiraku and said, "Stay away from us, don't disturb this young master's enjoyment of my noodles."

Ichiraku finally breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly pulled Rainbow back into the kitchen.

"That was really close," Rainbow said, still shaken.

"Yeah, from now on, whenever Xiao Jing comes, you hide in the kitchen and don't come out. I'll go out and deal with him," Ichiraku said.

Ye Lan couldn't stand it anymore and said, "This Bald Bully is too arrogant, isn't he? Uncle Ichiraku and Rainbow are known for their good nature in the Ninja Village, yet this thug is bullying them so much!"

Ye Lan was a little angry!

Ye Lan glanced at the people around and said, "Are these people really willing to just watch and not offer any help?"

"Most of them are ordinary people, mostly doing business. There are hardly any Ninja around. When they encounter this kind of thing, it's normal for them to sweep the snow from their own doorsteps. If they rashly come out to defend someone, they might be retaliated against by the Bald Bully."

Ye Lan said, "Then what about you? As a Ninja, aren't you going to do anything about it?"

Iruka sighed and said, "Alas, I can't help myself either. As a Ninja, I must abide by the Ninja code. Our existence is to maintain the peace of the village and protect it. We generally don't interfere in these ordinary people's disputes. If this Xiao Jing were a Ninja, I could teach him a lesson, but unfortunately, he's not."

After Iruka finished speaking, Ye Lan was actually somewhat disappointed. Although Ninja held a noble status in the village, they were also subject to many restrictions.

The Bald Bully and his gang ate quickly. After finishing, they wiped their mouths directly with their sleeves. Before leaving, the Bald Bully shouted loudly in the direction of the kitchen, "Rainbow, little sister, hiccup~ I'm leaving now. I'll come see you again next time. I hope you won't be so shy next time, haha..."

Naturally, there was no response from the kitchen.

The Bald Bully didn't care, laughed loudly, and walked towards the door with a group of his underlings.

Ye Lan got up and quickly walked to the Bald Bully, blocking his way.

"Don't you have to pay after you're done eating?"

But then he discovered that he couldn't push Ye Lan, even with all his strength.

The Bald Bully let go and looked at Ye Lan again, thinking that this kid in front of him looked weak and frail, but his leg strength was really not bad!
