Uchiha Gen entered the tent and gave a slight bow.
"Sit." Orochimaru looked up and said with a faint smile.
"Thank you, Orochimaru-sensei."
Uchiha Gen walked over and sat opposite Orochimaru, relaxed and natural in both expression and manner.
"You've rested well these past two days, right?"
"Now that you're rested, come help me."
Uchiha Gen nodded. "No problem. Just give me any orders you have."
"Would you rather help me handle official affairs, or assist me with experiments?"
"Is it about that?" Uchiha Gen's eyes lit up.
"It's research in that area."
"Then of course I choose to assist you with your experiments, Orochimaru-sensei."
"Compared to immortality, nothing else matters."
The smile on Orochimaru's face deepened. As expected, they were the same kind of people, with the same pursuit.
"Come find me tomorrow at two in the afternoon."
"Yes."
"You may go."
