At 6:50 that evening, Uchiha Gen, dressed in a black robe patterned with silver, brought Anko to Konoha's famous high-end restaurant, Barbecue Q.
Perhaps because the Great Ninja War had ended, quite a few Konoha Ninja had come to the restaurant for celebratory spending.
Since Uchiha Gen was not wearing the Uchiha Clan crest and was not particularly famous in Konoha—only somewhat well-known—and everyone's attention was on the barbecue tables, he did not attract much notice or discussion.
When he pulled open the door to private room number three, quite a few people were already seated inside, including Kurenai Yuhi, Asuma Sarutobi, Ebisu, Yamashiro Aoba, Namiashi Raidō, Tatami Iwashi, Shiranui Genma, Hayate Gekko, and Uzuki Yugao.
Among them, Asuma Sarutobi stood out the most. Though still young, he already had a cigarette hanging from his mouth, puffing away.
Asuma had been a rather rebellious delinquent in his younger days.
Besides them, Uchiha Gen's classmates also included Tobitake Tonbo, Hijiri Shimon, Kotetsu Hagane, Izumo Kamizuki, Umino Iruka, Mizuki, and Ibiki Morino.
Ninja were either out on missions, occupied with their duties, or dealing with personal matters, so gathering everyone together was no easy task.
These classmates were not counted based on graduation year, but on whether they had attended the Ninja Academy during the same period. No matter how brief that time had been, even if they had been in different grades or of different ages, they were still considered classmates.
