After Minato died sealing the Nine-Tails, Uchiha Gen helped the Uchiha Clan resist relocation while Konoha recovered and tensions with other villages grew. Gen recruited Yakushi Nonō and Kabuto, sent his new Homies after death-row prisoners, and awakened a new Sharingan ability as the story turned toward war.

• The Nine-Tails escaped Obito’s control, and Minato Namikaze teleported it away before sealing half into Kushina and half into Naruto at the cost of his life.
• Uchiha Gen joined the Ninth Division and helped capture a spy, while Konoha mourned Minato and began rebuilding.
• Shimura Danzō tried to move the Uchiha compound to the village edge, but Gen helped Fugaku organize a petition that persuaded Hiruzen Sarutobi to stop the relocation.
• After Konoha lifted its lockdown, Gen asked Orochimaru for White Zetsu corpses, awakened them as Bai Wuchang #1 and Bai Wuchang #2, and sent them after death-row prisoners.
• Obito rejected a return to Konoha and went to Mist to manipulate Yagura and the Three-Tails, while the great villages maneuvered toward conflict and Kumogakure prepared to test Konoha.
• Gen and Orochimaru recruited Yakushi Nonō and Kabuto, with Nonō agreeing to serve them while Kabuto entered Orochimaru’s care and Nonō went undercover in Iwagakure.
• After mysterious deaths among death-row prisoners drew little lasting response, Gen awakened a new Sharingan pattern and discovered that his left eye could use Izanagi and Ama-no-Uzume’s Decree.

Uchiha Gen joined Orochimaru on the Hidden Mist front, where he defeated Mist ninja and became deputy commander before Obito Uchiha lured him into a confrontation. Gen and Orochimaru drove Obito back, and Gen returned to Konoha with the Uchiha Gunbai before leaving for the front again.

• Uchiha Gen left for the Land of Whirlpools with Orochimaru and secretly turned ten White Zetsu infiltrators into his servants.
• Uchiha Gen and Orochimaru fought the Hidden Mist forces, and Gen killed Raiga Kurosuki and other Jonin while collecting their souls and lifespans.
• Orochimaru made Uchiha Gen his deputy commander, and Gen began secretly harvesting Mist ninja souls as the war resumed.
• Obito Uchiha lured Uchiha Gen to Red Moon Lake, where Gen and Orochimaru fought Obito and Black Zetsu’s allies with Zhurong’s help.
• Uchiha Gen resisted Obito’s genjutsu, rejected his offer to join his plan, and took the Uchiha Gunbai after Obito escaped.
• Uchiha Gen reported the encounter to Hiruzen Sarutobi and returned the Gunbai to Fugaku, prompting Setsuna Uchiha to tell the clan about Madara Uchiha.
• Fugaku Uchiha granted Uchiha Gen access to the clan’s libraries and business dividends, and Gen warned the clan to protect its Sharingan users before returning to the front.

Uchiha Gen turned back Kirigakure’s attack, forced the Mist to retreat, and later subdued Suikazan Fuguki, while Konoha’s leadership transferred Gen and Orochimaru away from the front. Back in Konoha, Gen shared what he knew about Orochimaru and the war, then celebrated his birthday with friends and family.

• Uchiha Gen encountered Konan and Sasori of the Red Sands in the Land of Whirlpools, defeated them, and accepted their belongings as compensation before letting them go.
• Suikazan Fuguki launched Operation Wildfire to draw Uchiha Gen away from the front, but Gen killed Mist ninja at Lion Head Mountain, defeated Hōzuki Mangetsu’s squad, and helped Konoha gain the advantage.
• Uchiha Gen and Orochimaru backed a strategy of surrounding the Mist fortress and attacking its supply lines, while Kirigakure’s leaders limited reinforcements and set a deadline to end the war.
• Uchiha Gen infiltrated the Mist camp, turned Suikazan Fuguki into his subordinate, and marked Fuguki with the Flying Thunder God Technique.
• Sarutobi Gouei persuaded Hiruzen Sarutobi to transfer Shinnosuke Sarutobi to the Land of Whirlpools and Orochimaru to the Land of Rice Fields, and Gen and Orochimaru recognized the order as an effort to remove them from the front.
• Uchiha Gen and Orochimaru handed command to Shinnosuke Sarutobi and left for the Land of Rice Fields, after Gen intimidated Harukyo Sarutobi during a dispute.
• Uchiha Gen told Mikoto Uchiha and Kushina Uzumaki about Orochimaru’s experiments and Konoha’s possible Hokage candidates, then invited them to his birthday gathering.
• Uchiha Gen hosted a birthday hotpot for Kurenai, Anko, Yugao, Mikoto, Kushina, Shisui, Itachi, and their children, recounting the Mist campaign and the mysterious person’s scheme before the guests shared stories and left.

Uchiha Gen and Orochimaru left the Cloud front to face Iwagakure and Kusagakure, where Gen helped secure an alliance with Sunagakure and a decisive victory. After the campaign, Gen returned to Konoha with Pakura marked by his technique and refused Danzo’s attempt to claim Anna and Karin for Root.

• Uchiha Gen created the lightning Homie Qiangliang, then joined Orochimaru at the Cloud front and helped drive Cloud’s forces into retreat.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi reassigned Orochimaru and Uchiha Gen to the Iwagakure-Grass front, while Shinnosuke Sarutobi and Shikaku Nara took over in the Land of Rice Fields and lost the ground Gen and Orochimaru had won.
• Orochimaru and Uchiha Gen held off Iwagakure as Konoha secured Sunagakure’s support, and Gen brought Anna Uzumaki and Karin Uzumaki to the Konoha camp.
• Uchiha Gen negotiated a seven-percent share of Konoha’s missions for Sunagakure and began a relationship with Pakura, who helped prepare for the coming battle.
• Uchiha Gen, Orochimaru, and Pakura attacked the Iwagakure-Grass maze with lightning and fire, then helped rout the allied forces and pursue their retreat.
• Ōnoki arrived and negotiated peace, while Konoha and Sunagakure forced Kusagakure to surrender and pay compensation.
