Suikazan Fuguki

The ones who wanted to challenge Seiji were Suikazan Fuguki, captain of the First Squad, and Murasaki, captain of the Second Squad.

Seiji knew Suikazan Fuguki, mainly because his appearance was far too distinctive. With orange hair hanging all the way to his waist and that uniquely massive build, he was one of a kind even in the Ninja World.

Because of that, Suikazan Fuguki had no codename and rarely wore a mask. There was no point—even with a mask on, any competent ninja could recognize him at a glance.

As for Murasaki, the Second Squad's captain, Seiji knew little about him. However, through his senses, Seiji could tell from that distinctive icy feeling that Murasaki likely came from the Yuki Clan, which possessed the Hyoton Kekkei Genkai.

Suikazan Fuguki had been born in the twelfth year of Kirigakure and was already twenty-one this year. His strength stood at the peak of Jonin, close to that of an Elite Jonin. When the position of First Division captain had opened up, he had believed himself to be the strongest candidate. Though he had yet to reach Elite Jonin level, his Chakra reserves had already surpassed 30 units while still a Jonin. With Chakra far exceeding that of ordinary ninja, he could fight an Elite Jonin without losing, and his seniority in the Anbu was more than sufficient. Yet unexpectedly, the one who became division captain was some brat from the Sixth Squad. This left him deeply dissatisfied.

Murasaki, meanwhile, had stepped forward simply because he wanted to fight Seiji. In the eyes of members of the great Kekkei Genkai clans, if you wanted to lead them, then you had to be stronger than them.

But since someone had stepped forward, regardless of the reason, Seiji needed to swiftly defeat them with overwhelming force and establish his authority.

"Alright, does anyone else want to come?" Seiji asked the others.

When no one answered after a long while, Seiji prepared to begin the match with Suikazan Fuguki and Murasaki.

"I'll go first!" Murasaki took a step forward and declared with his head held high.

"No need. The two of you can come at me together," Seiji replied indifferently. His casual tone immediately enraged them both.

"You said it! Murasaki, let's join forces and teach him a lesson!" Suikazan Fuguki said angrily. As a well-known figure in the Anbu, he felt that Seiji was looking down on him.

Unhurriedly, Seiji removed his Anbu armor and pulled off his shirt, revealing a sturdy, powerful upper body. Eight sharply defined abs and clearly sculpted muscles made him look like a masterpiece meticulously carved by a sculptor, radiating immense strength.

Murasaki, who knew a thing or two about the Kaguya Clan, another great Kekkei Genkai clan, could not help but narrow his eyes at Seiji's actions. He had seen Shikotsumyaku wielders of the Kaguya Clan fight before. Ordinary Kaguya clan members fought like madmen, but those who had awakened the Shikotsumyaku were entirely different—each one was an elegant dancer.

"Suikazan, attack! He's a Kaguya Clan member who has awakened the Shikotsumyaku!" Murasaki shouted at Suikazan Fuguki.

At that, Suikazan Fuguki swiftly began forming hand seals. His orange hair rose into the air, hardening as the seals were completed before shedding into countless hair needles that shot toward Seiji like a torrential downpour.

"Ninja Art: Hair Needle Senbon!"

By then, Seiji had completely removed his clothes. With a casual flick, he tossed them toward where Yagura stood.

"Earth Release: Earth Flow Wall!"

Seeing the ferocious onslaught from Suikazan Fuguki, Seiji had no intention of taking it head-on. He formed hand seals, and earth-nature Chakra rapidly flowed into the ground, raising multiple earthen walls.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The incoming hair needles slammed heavily into the earthen walls, kicking up thick clouds of dust. Suddenly, a tall earthen wall rose behind Suikazan Fuguki as well. A figure leaped out from behind it and rushed straight at him—it was Seiji, who had used Earth Release to tunnel over.

"You're too naive, brat!" Suikazan Fuguki shouted disdainfully. With his enormous Chakra reserves, he would never know the pain Kakashi Hatake would later suffer from running out of Chakra. He threw out ninjutsu as freely as if it cost nothing.

"Ninja Art: Hair Needle Senbon!"

His hair rapidly grew, turning into a thick, oversized orange senbon that stabbed toward Seiji.

Seiji neither dodged nor evaded, charging headlong into Suikazan Fuguki's attack.

"Pfft!" Suikazan Fuguki's hair pierced through Seiji's body, but it was only Seiji's Earth Clone. Seiji immediately controlled the earth formed when the Earth Clone was destroyed, tightly binding Suikazan Fuguki's hair. Another Seiji appeared beside the Earth Clone, his hands flashing through seals so quickly they left afterimages in the air.

Ram–Horse–Dragon–Tiger. The four seals were completed in an instant.

"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!" The earth softened, and an earth dragon rose from the ground. Opening its mouth, it fired a barrage of high-speed earth bullets at Suikazan Fuguki.

"I'm not done yet!" Seiji's hand seals continued: Ram–Horse–Ox–Tiger.

"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet!" Seiji opened his mouth and breathed out a blazing fire dragon, which swiftly caught up to the earth bullets fired by the earth dragon.

"Combination Technique: Earth Dragon Flame Bullet!"

Flames enveloped the earth bullets, creating an effect like molten lava as they densely rained down upon Suikazan Fuguki.

"As expected of someone who became a division captain at such a young age. He actually combined Earth Release and Fire Release into a single attack," the spectators murmured among themselves.

A brief note on the setting.

Combination Techniques are attacks formed by combining two Elemental Techniques, such as Earth Dragon Flame Bullet, Lightning Water Dragon Bullet, and Hurricane Water Vortex Technique.

Compound Techniques are formed by fusing two Elemental Techniques together to create a new type of attack similar to an Elemental Techniques Kekkei Genkai, such as the Scorch Release: Halo Hurricane Jet Black Arrow Style Zero that Naruto and Sasuke fused together during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
