Ch. 1New Life

Seiji recovered the memories of his previous life and learned that his horns marked a thin, atavistic Otsutsuki bloodline. As he returned home, he understood how his father Genji’s injuries and the Kaguya Clan’s political struggle had left their family exiled and bereaved.

  • Seiji recalled that he had been Si Qing, a graduate student from Blue Star who died in a traffic accident and was reborn in the Naruto world.
  • Seiji recognized that his horns indicated an Otsutsuki bloodline, though he had not awakened the Byakugan.
  • Seiji reviewed how Kaguya Musashi had used Seiji’s unusual appearance to expel Genji and his family from the Kaguya Clan.
  • Seiji remembered that Genji had been crippled in the battle where the Second Mizukage and Second Tsuchikage died, then lost his claim to clan leadership to Musashi.
  • Seiji recalled that Yukiko died when he was three and that Genji, unable to protect her, had been left broken and isolated.
  • Seiji ended his walk as the sun set and slowly headed home.

Ch. 2The Awakening of the Shikotsumyaku

At six, Seiji’s Chakra training triggered the awakening of his Shikotsumyaku, which he accidentally unleashed on his room’s wall. Genji discovered the Kekkei Genkai and drove away the Jonin monitoring the family to keep it secret.

  • Seiji completed his Chakra training, then felt his body tremble as his Chakra surged and his strength increased.
  • Seiji instinctively focused Chakra into his fingers and awakened Shikotsumyaku, growing ten bone spikes that shot forward as Ten Finger Drilling Bullets.
  • The bone bullets smashed through the wall, and Seiji fainted after exhausting his Chakra.
  • Genji found Seiji unconscious and recognized the bone bullets as proof that his son’s Kekkei Genkai had awakened.
  • Two Jonin arrived to investigate, but Genji threatened them and they withdrew.

Ch. 3Jigen

Isshiki sensed Seiji’s newly awakened Otsutsuki bloodline and left to find him, while Seiji recovered from awakening Shikotsumyaku. Seiji fell asleep unaware that his bloodline had begun reverting into that of a newborn Otsutsuki.

  • A thousand years earlier, Isshiki survived Kaguya’s attack by hiding inside the monk Jigen and placing a Karma mark on him.
  • When Seiji awakened Shikotsumyaku, Isshiki sensed his faint Otsutsuki aura and realized Seiji could become a suitable vessel.
  • Jigen returned to normal and set out toward the far east to find Seiji.
  • Genji questioned Seiji about the bone bullets he had used, praised his talent, and told him to rest.
  • Seiji went to sleep, and his body began emitting divine light as his bloodline underwent an initial reversion into a newborn Otsutsuki.

Ch. 4Summoning Technique

Genji taught Seiji about the Kaguya Clan’s Shikotsumyaku and gave him a scroll containing its cultivation methods. Seiji learned the item Summoning Technique on his first attempt and set out to train away from the people watching his family.

  • Seiji woke refreshed, ate breakfast with Genji, and listened as his father explained the Shikotsumyaku and their family’s history.
  • Genji demonstrated how he could grow and heal bone spikes, then gave Seiji two Chakra-strengthened Bone Blades.
  • Genji warned that Kaguya Musashi was watching them and gave Seiji the branch’s Kekkei Genkai scroll so he could train without his father’s direct instruction.
  • Genji taught Seiji the seals for the item Summoning Technique and explained how it summoned the scroll from the branch’s Shrine.
  • Seiji successfully summoned the scroll on his first try, then left to train farther away.

Ch. 5Cultivation

Seiji trained his awakened Shikotsumyaku at a secluded lakeside and discovered he possessed an unusually powerful trace of Otsutsuki Bloodline. By Year 27 of Kirigakure, he had mastered most of the Kaguya Clan’s techniques and kept two bloodline-burning forbidden techniques as last-resort trump cards.

  • Seiji summoned a bloodline scroll and used its instructions to learn Ten Finger Drilling Bullets, firing bone bullets into the lake.
  • Seiji increased his Chakra output and discovered he could greatly amplify the technique’s power.
  • Seiji spent the next year and a half training daily, mastering control of Ten Finger Drilling Bullets and developing his Chakra reserves to an Elite Chunin level.
  • At age eight, Seiji had mastered the Dance of the Willow, Dance of the Camellia, Dance of the Larch, and Dance of the Clematis, while memorizing the Dance of the Seedling Fern.
  • Seiji mastered the forbidden Blood Burning Technique and Ash Bone Technique, keeping both as life-or-death trump cards.

Ch. 6Crisis Approaches

Jigen’s failing body drew closer to Seiji as Isshiki prepared to use him for rebirth, while Seiji remained unaware of the danger. Genji recounted the Kaguya Clan’s history and his family’s expulsion, and Seiji reached Jonin-level Chakra as he vowed to avenge them.

  • Jigen approached the Land of Water with Isshiki’s consciousness seeking Seiji as a new vessel.
  • Seiji asked Genji about Hidden Mist Village and the Kaguya Clan, and Genji described their history, the wars, and his role in the village.
  • Genji explained that Kaguya Musashi had used Seiji’s horns as an excuse to expel their family and now kept them under guard.
  • Seiji promised to train and avenge his family, then returned to his room to refine Chakra.
  • At the end of the twenty-seventh year of Hidden Mist, Seiji’s Chakra reserves reached Jonin level.

Ch. 7Jigen Arrives

Jigen arrived at Seiji’s home, defeated two Kaguya Jonin, and attacked Seiji as a potential vessel for Isshiki. Seiji wounded Jigen with Shikotsumyaku, and Genji began a forbidden technique to protect his son.

  • Jigen approached Seiji’s home, where Kaguya Sugito and Kaguya Shinya confronted him and were quickly incapacitated by his black rods.
  • Genji urged Seiji to flee after the fight outside ended, but Jigen reached the courtyard and demanded that Seiji become one with God.
  • Seiji recognized Jigen as Isshiki’s vessel and struck him with Shikotsumyaku: Dance of the Clematis, Flower, injuring him and forcing him back.
  • Genji stepped between Seiji and Jigen and fired Ten Finger Drilling Bullets, which Jigen blocked with a black rod.
  • Genji began Shikotsumyaku: Blood Burning Technique, telling Seiji to escape as Seiji tearfully prepared to leave.

Ch. 8Fierce Battle

Genji burned his Kaguya bloodline to fight Jigen and inflicted a fatal wound, but Jigen’s Karma revived Isshiki in an incomplete form. Genji was left gravely injured as Isshiki, with only two days to live, prioritized finding Seiji to implant Karma.

  • Genji activated the Blood Burning Secret Technique, raising his strength to a newly advanced Kage level, and attacked Jigen.
  • Jigen activated both stages of Karma as Genji used Shikotsumyaku techniques to bind him and strike him with a bone drill.
  • Genji used the Bone Spikes to conceal his approach and landed a point-blank drill strike that grievously injured Jigen.
  • Jigen pierced Genji with black rods, but his own body failed from its severe injuries and he died with Isshiki.
  • Isshiki reincarnated through Jigen’s Karma in an incomplete form, had only two days to live, and sought Seiji so he could implant Karma on him.

Ch. 9Gray Bone! Gray Bone!

Seiji and Genji fought Isshiki as he tried to make Seiji his resurrection vessel. Genji sacrificed his life to fatally wound Isshiki, and Seiji survived with a shadow clone before grieving his father and setting off injured.

  • Seiji attacked Isshiki with Ten Finger Drilling Bullets, but Isshiki emerged unharmed and overwhelmed him with a Chakra blast and black rods.
  • Isshiki implanted Karma in Seiji and began thawing it, but Genji arrived and kicked him away.
  • Genji used the last of his life force to stab Isshiki with the Ash Bone Technique, leaving Isshiki mortally wounded.
  • Isshiki tried to finish thawing Karma, but the Seiji he held was a shadow clone, and his body began to crumble.
  • Genji's body scattered into ashes after he saw Seiji was safe, and Seiji mourned his father's death.
  • Seiji removed the black rods, began to recover, and staggered away using one as a cane.

Ch. 10Isshiki's Gift and Seiji's Metamorphosis

Kaguya Sugito and Kaguya Shinya discovered the aftermath of the battle, while Seiji escaped and began absorbing the knowledge and power left in Isshiki’s ownerless Karma. Lost in the wilderness, he recovered, fed his evolving bloodline, and used Isshiki’s memories to refine his Chakra.

  • Kaguya Sugito and Kaguya Shinya woke, removed the black rods from their bodies, and went to investigate the battle sites.
  • Sugito and Shinya found Genji’s scattered bones and, at the next site, three piles of ash left by Seiji to disguise his survival.
  • Seiji sensed Isshiki’s Karma dissolving into his bloodline, bringing him Isshiki’s memories and knowledge as well as nourishment for his evolution.
  • Seiji realized he was lost, traveled through the wilderness, and dragged a hunted bear with a Bone Whip because he had left Genji’s Storage Scroll behind.
  • After three days, Seiji recovered, cooked and ate much of the bear, then compressed his Chakra using a method from Isshiki’s memories.

Ch. 11Isshiki's Memory

After absorbing Isshiki’s memories, Seiji learned the hidden history of the Ninja World and the Otsutsuki Clan, then resolved to strengthen his bloodline and become a complete Otsutsuki. He also discovered that Isshiki had hidden a dormant Ten-Tails in another dimension, leaving Seiji to plan how to claim it.

  • Seiji awoke from meditation with about 2.1 ka of Chakra, whose quality exceeded that of ordinary ninja.
  • Seiji spent five days reviewing Isshiki and Jigen’s memories, witnessing the Otsutsuki arrival, the founding of the ninja villages, and the wars that shaped the Ninja World.
  • Seiji learned that his twin horns marked him as a main-branch Otsutsuki and understood how Kaguya’s betrayal of Isshiki had unfolded.
  • Seiji decided to elevate his bloodline until he became a complete Otsutsuki and learned that Isshiki had hidden a dormant Ten-Tails in an extradimensional space.
  • Seiji discovered that the Ninja World’s abundant energy and widespread Chakra made it an unusually sustainable place for producing Chakra Fruit.

Ch. 12The One Who Knows Everything

Kaguya Musashi accepted Sugito and Shinya’s false account of Genji’s death, believing his brother and nephew had perished. Meanwhile, Seiji absorbed Isshiki’s memories, recovered, and entered a town in the Land of Water as he began to experience ordinary life.

  • Sugito and Shinya told Kaguya Musashi that an unknown monk defeated them and that Genji had seemingly died using the Dance of the Seedling Fern.
  • Musashi concluded that Genji and his family had perished, dismissed the two men, and began considering how to claim the Mizukage position for the Kaguya Clan.
  • Seiji woke from meditation with jonin-level combat strength but had not yet awakened his own eyes or connected to Isshiki’s Daikokuten Space.
  • Seiji set out for a town, transformed his appearance to hide his horns and Kaguya markings, and arrived the following evening.
  • As Seiji walked through the town, his memories merged with Isshiki’s and his aloof manner faded, leaving him feeling more like an ordinary human.

Ch. 13Underground Exchange

Seiji used Isshiki's identity to obtain a map of the Land of Water, cash, and a Storage Scroll from the Underground Exchange, then spent several days enjoying town life and cultivating. He left the inn dressed in the white combat outfit and Divine Robe he had ordered.

  • Seiji found the Underground Exchange in a restroom and presented Isshiki's unique token, causing the attendant to recognize him as their lord.
  • Seiji requested a detailed map of the Land of Water and one million ryo, then accepted the attendant's Storage Scroll and taught him a simplified Water Dragon Bullet Technique.
  • Seiji ate a large barbecue meal, ordered several outfits from a tailor, and rented the inn's most luxurious room.
  • Seiji spent ten days cultivating at the inn before collecting and changing into his new white ninja outfit and Divine Robe.
  • Seiji returned to the inn after the tailor escorted him out.

Ch. 14Rinnegan

Madara Uchiha awakened the Rinnegan just before his body failed, summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and regained hope of carrying out his plan. Seiji sensed the Rinnegan’s emergence as he traveled to Kirigakure, where he arrived three months later.

  • Seiji stored his supplies and set out for Kirigakure as Madara Uchiha waited near death in his underground base beneath Mountain Graveyard.
  • Madara’s Hashirama Cells finished fusing with his own, and he awakened the Rinnegan.
  • Madara summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which supplied the life force that kept him alive, while Black Zetsu secretly celebrated the Rinnegan’s appearance.
  • Seiji sensed the Rinnegan awakening, recognized Madara as its likely bearer, and continued toward Kirigakure.
  • Three months later, Seiji arrived at Kirigakure’s gates and presented his identification documents.

Ch. 15Within Hidden Mist Village

Seiji struggled to find a way to join Hidden Mist Village while concealing his identity, then encountered Elder Genji, who recognized him and sent Ao to ask his name. Ao approached Seiji with an invitation from the elder, leaving Seiji unsure why he had been singled out.

  • Seiji entered Hidden Mist Village, honoring his father Genji and hoping to find a way to resurrect his parents.
  • Seiji stayed at an inn for nearly five days, unable to find a way to join the village without risking exposure.
  • Seiji walked through the village and saw Elder Genji, who recognized Seiji's resemblance to Kaguya Yukiko.
  • Genji told Ao to confirm whether the boy was Seiji and invite him to his home if so.
  • Ao used Body Flicker to approach Seiji and ask his name on Genji's behalf.

Ch. 16Genji

Seiji met Genji, an old friend of his family who had served as his father’s superior, and accepted his offer to live in Kirigakure as his grandson. The next morning, Genji began assessing Seiji’s strength by having Ao challenge him.

  • Ao confirmed Seiji’s identity and brought him to meet Genji, who recognized Seiji’s father and maternal family.
  • Genji told Seiji about his ties to the family and invited him to call him Grandfather; Seiji accepted and chose to keep the Otsutsuki surname.
  • Genji welcomed Seiji into his home and asked him to release his Transformation Technique before Gonbei showed him to his room.
  • The next morning, Seiji told Genji he could barely fight a Jonin, and Genji asked Ao to test his abilities.
  • Ao stepped forward and formed the Seal of Confrontation.

Ch. 17Battle and Strength

Seiji fought Midori to demonstrate his abilities, then faced Rei, Genji’s elite Anbu captain, in a stronger test. After Seiji revealed his Shikotsumyaku, Rei avoided his bone bullets with a Water Clone, leaving Seiji to confront the captain’s speed and skill.

  • Seiji and Midori exchanged taijutsu and Water Release techniques until Genji stopped their match.
  • Genji introduced Rei, his Anbu captain, and asked Seiji to fight him at full strength.
  • Seiji retreated and fired Ten Finger Drilling Bullets at Rei.
  • The bone bullets pierced Rei, who turned out to be a Water Clone, while Seiji realized Rei had used the technique without visible seals.

Ch. 18My Grandson Seiji Has the Makings of a Mizukage

Seiji fought Rei, an Elite Jonin, and revealed the strength of his Shikotsumyaku, including the rare Dance of the Seedling Fern. Genji judged Seiji capable of protecting himself against an Elite Jonin and began to believe his grandson could become Mizukage.

  • Seiji defended against Rei’s Water Dragon Bullet with a Bone Shield, but Rei evaded Seiji’s Clematis attack with a Water Replacement.
  • Rei flooded the battlefield and concealed himself with the Hidden Mist Technique, forcing Seiji to defend against attacks he could sense but struggled to match in speed.
  • Seiji used the Dance of the Larch to halt Rei’s close-range assault, then unleashed the Dance of the Seedling Fern to fill the battlefield with bone spikes.
  • Seiji used the bone forest to close in and attacked Rei with the Dance of the Willow, but Rei blocked his attacks and eventually dispersed the mist.
  • Genji assessed Seiji’s strength and was stirred by the thought that his grandson had the makings of a Mizukage.

Ch. 19Joining Kirigakure

Seiji officially joined Kirigakure as a Jonin and began Anbu onboarding alongside the newly recruited Yagura. Their captain, Fū, tested them in a two-on-one spar, which began with Seiji charging forward as Yagura prepared a jutsu.

  • Genji ended Seiji and Ling’s spar, praised Seiji’s strength, and sent Bi to register him as a Jonin.
  • With Genji’s backing, Seiji registered as Seiji Otsutsuki and was assigned to Kirigakure’s Anbu.
  • At the Anbu base, Seiji met the new recruit Karatachi Yagura, and both were assigned to Captain Wind, whose codename was Fū.
  • Yagura nervously discussed tactics with Seiji and was shocked to learn that Seiji was also nine years old and already a Jonin.
  • Fū began the recruits’ test, requiring them to last ten minutes against him; Seiji charged while Yagura prepared a jutsu, and Fū countered with Wind Release: Great Breakthrough.

Ch. 20Code Name "Bone"

Seiji joined the ANBU First Division Sixth Squad as code name Bone after defeating Feng’s Water Clone and revealing his Shikotsumyaku. As the squad prepared to begin missions, Black Zetsu secretly used White Zetsu to interfere with the Hashirama Cells growing on Madara’s Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

  • Yagura used Water Mirror Technique against Feng, while Seiji defeated Feng’s Water Clone with Shikotsumyaku.
  • Feng accepted Seiji and Yagura into the Sixth Squad and told them to report to the ANBU base the next morning.
  • Seiji, Yagura, Feng, and Chino introduced themselves, and Seiji took the code name Bone.
  • Feng began showing Yagura and Seiji around the base and teaching them ANBU rules before their missions began.
  • Madara inspected the Hashirama Cells growing on the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and vowed to prove himself right to Hashirama.
  • Black Zetsu secretly directed White Zetsu to merge with the cultivated Hashirama Cells on the statue.
