Jiang Hao was delighted that his artifact forging had succeeded, but before he could enjoy it for more than a few seconds, he felt the spiritual power in the sword rapidly dissipating. It lasted only about thirty seconds before vanishing completely.
Jiang Hao had used Magic Artifacts before, and this situation was entirely different. Once spiritual power was infused into a Magic Artifact, it would not dissipate anytime soon as long as it was not depleted. It could even be nurtured with spiritual power over time, eventually becoming infused with spiritual power on its own and growing more powerful.
Jiang Hao had to admit that this method had failed. There was a reason Daoist predecessors used jujube wood, peach wood, and copper coins to make swords: they could carry spiritual power.
Suddenly, Jiang Hao had another idea.
"What would happen if I put it in the space?"
He acted as soon as he thought of it. Jiang Hao picked up a bullet, burned an Evil-Breaking Talisman and infused its power into the bullet, then shoved it into the chamber at top speed before storing it in the space.
A minute later, Jiang Hao took the revolver out of the space and unloaded the bullet. He found that its spiritual energy was still there. Only about half a minute later did the energy finally dissipate, filling Jiang Hao with delight.
It worked.
As long as he stored a gun infused with talismanic spiritual power in the space, he could preserve that power indefinitely. This meant he now had a Magic Artifact of his own. He just had to be careful to fire all the bullets within twenty seconds, or he would have to store it again.
