Power Progression

Background / History

The Primordial World is a vast, boundless realm whose early landscape is defined by Mount Buzhou, the pillar supporting the firmament. It contains powerful innate beings, the Heavenly Dao, the Human Dao, Mount Shouyang, the Netherworld Blood Sea, and numerous major clans and sects. 1 5

Pangu is recognized as its creator, though he is later revealed to have survived. He forged the Primordial World from chaos as part of a larger design: the world forms the inner domain while chaos space forms the outer domain. Pangu ultimately intends to use the Primordial World’s power to condense the Origin of the Dao and become order itself. 3 12

The world is originally constrained by heavenly rules and recurring calamity tribulations. Its origin is depleted by these cycles, which continue toward the Age of Dharma’s End unless its origin can be replenished and the established rules broken. 3

Nuwa’s creation of the Human Race establishes the Human Dao. Chen Xuan, acting through the Mythical Nuwa template, subsequently creates the Yan and Huang Human Race; the Human Dao’s fortune increasingly gathers around him and later becomes a major force supporting the world. 1 4

After the Heavenly Dao Will submits to Chen Xuan, he becomes Dao Venerable and accepts responsibility for expanding the Primordial World and ending its calamity tribulations. He uses the Starry Sky Atlas, the Divine Court Academy, Primordial City, and a point-based contribution system to draw in external worlds, their origins, and their Children of Fortune. 3 5 8 26 29

World Structure

• Mount Buzhou — Original pillar supporting the sky; later severed by Yuanshi, with its remnants refined into the Divine World. 1 15
• Mount Shouyang — Expanded into a second heavenly pillar and designated as the Divine Court’s dao field. It bears Mythical Nuwa’s lingering aura and statue, which help suppress Pangu’s influence and the chaos barrier. 5 12 19
• Netherworld Blood Sea — Contains a passage toward chaos space and Pangu-related secrets; it is later transformed into Houtu’s Primordial Spirit to preserve her after the creation of the Six Paths of Reincarnation. 11 12 13
• Chaos barrier — Boundary separating the Primordial World from chaos space. Its rupture allows chaotic currents into the world, requiring the Eastern Emperor Bell and Mythic World Origin to suppress it. 22 23
• Primordial City — A city created by Chen Xuan through the fusion of several hundred Great Thousand Worlds; it serves as a cross-realm hub connected to billions of planes. 26
• Divine Court Academy — Academy system used to recruit, educate, and send prodigies from external worlds on missions that strengthen both themselves and the Primordial World. 10 28 30

Properties

World Origin

The Primordial World possesses an origin that determines its growth and stability. Its initial origin is located within Chen Xuan’s Divine Sense, causing his true body to become stronger as the world expands. 29

• World origins from external planes can be merged into the Primordial World to expand its heavens and raise its overall strength. 23 58
• The world’s inhabitants receive fortune and cultivation opportunities through contributions measured by Chen Xuan’s point system. 8 11
• Its earlier origin depletion is the cause of recurring calamity tribulations. 3

Three Daos

The world contains the Heavenly Dao, Human Dao, and Earthly Dao.

• Heavenly Dao — Governs the world’s established rules and calamity cycles; its Will submits to Chen Xuan after his exposition of the Mythic Dao. 3
• Human Dao — Established with the Human Race’s creation. It grows powerful enough to stand alongside the Heavenly Dao and suppress Pangu Will through the River of Humanity. 1 4 15
• Earthly Dao — Condensed through Houtu’s establishment of the Six Paths of Reincarnation. 13
• The three Daos later unite into a black-and-white Dao-proving spiritual treasure. 13

Time Flow

Time in the Primordial World passes far faster than in the Mythic World: Chen Xuan states that one day in the Mythic World equals one hundred years in the Primordial World. 25

• Creation of the Human Races — Nuwa creates the Primordial Humans, while Mythical Nuwa creates the Yan and Huang Human Race with superior innate talent and longevity. 1
• Heavenly Dao’s submission — The Heavenly Dao Will submits to Chen Xuan, elevating him to Dao Venerable and placing him above the Dao Ancestor. 3
• World expansion initiative — Chen Xuan establishes Mount Shouyang as the Divine Court’s dao field and begins gathering the origins of other worlds. 5 8
