"What's wrong?"

After waiting at the door for quite a while without seeing Keqing come out, Ye Ming returned to the bedroom and asked her.

Keqing closed the message and forced a smile, waving her phone at Ye Ming. "Sorry, I just remembered there's something at the company I need to handle. I have to make a few calls and give some instructions, so I can't go down with you. You and Laffey go ahead. I'll come find you after I'm done."

Thoughts on Going Premium

While slacking off at work tonight and writing, I suddenly realized it was Friday. My editor notified me on Monday that the book would go premium this Friday, and I nearly forgot...

First, let's talk about the update plan after it goes premium.

The author has recently been working night shifts, so there's no helping these cursed-hour updates. I just got home, and I'll try my best to write a few more chapters and get them out around eleven in the morning.

After updating, I'll sleep for a while. Once I wake up in the afternoon, I'll continue writing, then update again in the evening. I'll write however many chapters I can.

After going premium, there will be at least two updates per day. If the results are decent, there will be at least three updates per day. I'll also stockpile chapters based on those three daily updates and release extra chapters from time to time.

The book currently has a total of twenty-five thousand bookmarks. A thousand first-day subscriptions would count as a success. If it reaches two thousand first-day subscriptions, there will be at least three updates every day.

As for the story, it's slice-of-life and heartwarming. There won't be any angst-inducing plotlines, so everyone can read with peace of mind.

Ye Ming and Laffey went to the supermarket together. They first bought the daily necessities Keqing needed, then Ye Ming bought Laffey liquor-filled Chocolate and lots of snacks. Since they had bought too much, Ye Ming could only put the daily necessities and snacks in the car first before returning to the supermarket to buy ingredients.

"Commander, Commander, we're having a gathering tonight, right?"

While the items were being weighed, Laffey tugged at Ye Ming's sleeve and looked up at him with her little face, her large eyes full of anticipation.

Not understanding why she was asking, Ye Ming said, "That's right. Is there anything Laffey wants to eat? Commander can make it especially for Laffey."

Laffey shook her head.

"Laffey isn't picky. As long as Commander makes it, Laffey likes it!"

"Laffey had money to buy alcohol too? Where did Laffey's money come from?"

"From the salary Commander paid." Laffey picked up a bottle of red wine, leaned in, and sniffed it deeply, looking completely satisfied.
