Masahiko helped the Senju and Uzumaki defeat the Kaguya Clan, then became the Uzumaki First Elder and sealed the Balance Clan’s dangerous bloodline technique. After training with Hashirama and helping the Senju pursue Chakra Conducting Metal, he faced the arrival of a six-clan army at the mine.

• Masahiko escorted Mito to the Senju wedding, helped Hashirama and Mito marry, and earned Witness Points for witnessing the ceremony.
• Masahiko returned to the Uzumaki compound, learned that Muto had died in a Kaguya attack, and joined the Senju-Uzumaki campaign against the Kaguya Clan.
• Masahiko helped the alliance survive the Kaguya attacks, broke Kaguya Take’s barrier with Rasenshuriken, and fought in the assault that ended with Kaguya Jyorai’s death and the clan’s destruction.
• Masahiko studied Sealing Jutsu for five years, became the Uzumaki First Elder, and accompanied Hashirama to investigate the Balance Clan’s dangerous Transformation Technique.

Masahiko trained his Uzumaki disciples, changed events surrounding the Guardian Shinobi and the Reaper Death Seal, and helped the Senju face the Uchiha. After developing Dust Release, he learned that Madara had returned to challenge Hashirama, setting the stage for their final battle and Konoha’s founding.

• Hashirama defeated the allied Clan Heads with Sage Mode and True Several Thousand Hands, then shared Chakra Conducting Metal with the Sarutobi Clan.
• Masahiko developed Chakra Conducting Metal weapons and sealing scrolls with Tobirama, then helped shape the Daimyo’s Guardian Shinobi force.
• Masahiko returned to the Uzumaki Clan, selected Iko, Hitomi, and Nanako as students, and formed Konoha’s First Class, First Squad.
• Masahiko destroyed Nanako’s Reaper Mask after discovering it contained a weakened Shinigami and an Uzumaki ancestor’s soul, earning Witness Points for changing the Reaper Death Seal plot.
• As the Uchiha prepared for war, Masahiko brought his students to Kazama Valley and fought Madara until Hashirama’s return ended the battle.
• After collapsing, Masahiko defeated the Shinigami in his soul world, awakened the Mind's Eye of the Kagura, and learned Tobirama had struck Izuna in a vital spot.
• Masahiko trained his disciples, developed Lava Release, and later fused Earth, Wind, and Fire Release into Dust Release, testing its power with Particle Style: Level Splitting Jutsu.

Masahiko helped establish Konoha, shape its institutions, and manage the growing tensions around Madara and the Uchiha. After Hashirama defeated Madara and Mito sealed the Nine-Tails, Tobirama became the Second Hokage and placed the Uchiha in charge of the Military Police Force.

• Masahiko challenged Madara when the Uchiha arrived to discuss a ceasefire, but Hashirama stopped their fight and reconciled with Madara, paving the way for Konoha’s founding.
• Masahiko persuaded the Uzumaki Clan Head to establish a branch in Konoha, signed the alliance pact, and watched Hashirama become Hokage and Konoha’s institutions take shape.
• Masahiko helped create the Ninja Academy and a system of ninja ranks, then captured Shukaku and returned him to Konoha, where Hashirama gathered the Tailed Beasts.
• Masahiko accompanied Hashirama and Tobirama to the Five Kage Summit, and they formed an alliance before returning to find Konoha unsettled by disputes over its Academy graduates.
• Masahiko’s books about Madara embarrassed him and worsened the Uchiha’s standing, while Madara left Konoha after Hashirama intervened in his attack on Mu and Ōnoki.
• Masahiko developed Yin-Yang Release, destroyed and helped rebuild Hokage Rock, and watched the older generation of the Uzumaki Clan pass into retirement as younger families grew.
• Black Zetsu infiltrated the Uzumaki Clan and later possessed Masahiko’s Shadow Clone during Madara’s battle with Hashirama, and Hashirama defeated Madara and announced he would leave the Hokage position.
• Masahiko helped Mito seal the Nine-Tails, Tobirama won the election to become Second Hokage, and Tobirama created the Military Police Force with the Uchiha in its major positions.

After Hashirama’s death, Masahiko traveled to Kumogakure and became entangled in the war against Konoha. He helped defeat Kinkaku and Ginkaku and saved Tobirama, then returned to find Konoha weighing its next Hokage and learn that Ashina had died in the war.

• Tobirama established Anbu despite Uchiha and Hyuga opposition, while Masahiko helped Hashirama build the statues at the Valley of the End and uncovered Tobirama’s forbidden experiments.
• Hashirama sealed Impure World Reincarnation and later died at forty-nine, after which Masahiko left Konoha to explore other countries and gather intelligence.
• Masahiko entered Kumogakure under the alias Minato Namikaze, fought Bee, and accepted a mission from the Second Raikage to steal the Chakra Dispersal Cannon’s design.
• When the Second Raikage asked him to fight Konoha, Masahiko sabotaged the cannon plans and fled, then returned to Konoha and joined Tobirama against Kinkaku, Ginkaku, and Kumogakure’s forces.
• Masahiko killed Kinkaku and Ginkaku, then used Sage Art Dust Release to defeat the Second Raikage’s remaining forces after Mu grievously wounded Tobirama.
• Masahiko carried Tobirama to Shikkotsu Forest, where the Slug Sage began treating him, then returned to Konoha and learned Mito had defeated the Second Kazekage.
• Masahiko discussed Acting Hokage candidates with Mito and learned that Ashina had been killed by a Sunagakure elder, whom Mito had killed in return.
