Who Do You Think I Am?

Jiang Mian glanced at the nauseating Yu Xiaogang, then at Tang San and Xiao Wu, who were suppressing their anger.

The corners of his lips lifted slightly. He walked between the two wooden crates, reached out, and hauled Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun up. Both had their eyes tightly shut, not daring to look at anyone.

Jiang Mian tossed Ma Hongjun onto the ground first. Freeing one hand, he gripped Dai Mubai by the neck and smiled. "Tang San, if you want him to live, don't hide like a coward."

Dai Mubai's face gradually turned red. Tang San remained calm, while Xiao Wu grabbed him and whispered, "Third Brother, don't rush. He's trying to provoke you."

"Jiang Mian, what exactly do you want?" Yu Xiaogang's eyes widened as he shouted furiously, "Is there no justice left? No law?"

"I'll deal with you later." Jiang Mian shot Yu Xiaogang a glance but ignored him completely.

His gaze remained fixed on Tang San. "Tang San, if you kneel now and kowtow three times, I might consider sparing him."

"Jiang Mian!" Veins bulged on Tang San's forehead. He slowly stepped out from the crowd and said coldly, "Heads may be severed and blood may be spilled, but Dai Laoda, I will avenge you."

"For the sake of your own pride, you don't even care about brotherhood anymore?" Jiang Mian was not surprised by Tang San's answer in the slightest.

He was a heartless, ungrateful wretch. That was beyond dispute. He was exactly like Yu Xiaogang.

"Little San, what are you doing?" Flander was horrified. He had not expected Tang San not only to refuse to save Dai Mubai, but to push him deeper into the fire.

"Dean Flander, I believe Dai Laoda would not want to survive in such humiliation either." Tang San spoke righteously. "We Shrek students may lose our heads and spill our blood, but this pride in our bones must never be broken!"

Upon hearing Tang San's words, Dai Mubai desperately writhed, even though his reddened face prevented him from speaking.

Jiang Mian gave a cold laugh. He casually threw Dai Mubai onto the ground and said, "Dai Mubai, you heard him, didn't you? You know perfectly well who cost you your manhood. This is the brother you were so proud of?"

"Tang San, you're ruthless!" Dai Mubai glared at Tang San through gritted teeth.

Tang San met Dai Mubai's gaze directly. He had presumably already figured out how to deceive the two of them.

Jiang Mian snorted. Fishing required patience. He was in no hurry to kill Tang San.

After all, the deeper Tang San's hatred for Jiang Mian grew, the more satisfying it would be when Jiang Mian finally killed him.

Since you, Tang San, don't care about your brothers' lives, then I, Jiang Mian, will grant your wish.

Oscar, hiding within the crowd, looked at Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun's deaths, then at Tang San's feigned righteousness, unsure what to think.

Jiang Mian left Shrek Academy with Xie Yue and Bear Lord, heading straight for the Star Dou Great Forest.

This trip to the Evil Eye Forest on the Sun Moon Continent would likely take at least a year and a half before they could return. If anything unexpected happened along the way, it might take even longer.

Jiang Mian was still thinking about the Spirit Master Tournament.

The moment the three left the city, a fiery cloud seemed to race across the sky toward them. Jiang Mian focused his eyes and realized it was not a fiery cloud at all, but Scarlet King flying through the air!

"Scarlet King is here." Bear Lord laughed heartily.

Scarlet King descended like a meteor, landing directly before Jiang Mian. The entire Heaven Dou Imperial City saw it clearly. The fiery cloud had been imposing in its approach, yet it gathered and landed before Jiang Mian. Anyone who was not an idiot could guess that it was connected to him.

"Scarlet King, how did it go?" Jiang Mian looked at the invigorated Scarlet King and asked with a smile, "Where's Yan?"

"I threw him into the lava region." Scarlet King replied irritably. "More than a month, and he hasn't made even the slightest progress. Did a donkey kick that kid in the head?"

"Isn't that too dangerous?" Jiang Mian asked in surprise.

Scarlet King patted his chest. "Don't worry. I beat all the soul beasts in charge there into submission."

Scarlet King might be strict, but he treated Yan rather well.

"Bear Lord contacted me just now and said you were going to the Evil Eye Forest to deal with that fellow." Scarlet King wiped the sweat from his forehead and laughed. "How could I miss such excitement?"

Jiang Mian smiled faintly. Scarlet King was closely connected to him, as though the two had some kind of radar between them. That was why Scarlet King could locate Jiang Mian so precisely.

Four dazzling streaks of light descended before Jiang Mian at the same time. Di Tian stepped out first, followed closely by Snow Empress, Bi Ji, Scarlet King, and the other ferocious beasts.

"Jiang Mian, you've done well." Di Tian looked at Jiang Mian and smiled. "As expected, I did not misjudge you."

"Mhm." Di Tian nodded. "Time is of the essence. Let us act as quickly as possible."

"Alright." Jiang Mian said. "How should we travel to the Evil Eye Forest?"

Di Tian did not answer Jiang Mian. He walked over, grabbed Jiang Mian, and with a whoosh by his ear, the surrounding scenery suddenly began rushing past at incredible speed, making him dizzy as though he were riding a high-speed train.

Jiang Mian rubbed his eyes, shocked to find that he was already above the clouds. A barrier of Soul Power surrounded him, and within it, the pressure, oxygen, air flow, and everything else were no different from the ground.

"This really is fast travel." Jiang Mian gave a thumbs-up and exclaimed, "This is what immortals are like."

"This is nothing." Di Tian chuckled. "Only by reaching the summit yourself can you witness the magnificent sight that words cannot describe."

"I think," Jiang Mian said with a smile, "it isn't far off."

The group traveled grandly onward. Di Tian carried Jiang Mian on his back and led the way at the front, while Snow Empress and the others followed behind.

Fortunately, they were flying above the clouds where no one could see them. If ordinary people spotted them from the ground, everyone would know of Jiang Mian's grand feat within three days.

"Master, I'm afraid of heights." Xie Yue clung tightly to Bear Lord's arm, terrified that he might accidentally fall. Bear Lord did not know whether to laugh or cry and could only spare some additional Soul Power to protect Xie Yue.
