Background / History

As Pope of Spirit Hall, Bibi Dong first encounters Jiang Mian when he arrives at the Pope’s Hall after being falsely branded a criminal. Unlike Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, she immediately suspects that the accusations against him are fabricated. After witnessing Bear Lord and Crimson King’s overwhelming power, she negotiates an alliance with Jiang Mian, offering Spirit Hall’s resources and training opportunities in return for his support. 10

She brings Jiang Mian, Zhu Zhuqing, and Nan Meng into the Golden Generation’s circle and places their training under Bear Lord and Crimson King rather than Spirit Hall’s usual instructors. 11 Later, she leads a force of five Titled Douluo to hunt the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python, successfully absorbing both hundred-thousand-year soul rings. 14

Jiang Mian confronts her over the Rakshasa God assessment and her unresolved attachment to Yu Xiaogang.
