Demigra, on the other hand, looked at the angel's pretty, gentle face across from him with lingering fear. A chill suddenly rose in his heart, and glistening beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. During their brief exchange, Demigra had discovered one of his disadvantages: he could not control his body as freely as angels could in high-speed combat.
Those angels seemed not to need to think about how to move at all. Their bodies simply fought on their own.
Although that difference in timing was tiny, almost negligible, it was the key to victory or defeat in an ultra-high-speed battle. This was the gap between someone who had just entered the fourth level of the divine realm and veteran angels.
Elsewhere, God of Destruction Rumsshi and Supreme Kai Gowasu watched the battle between the angels and Demigra from afar.
"Lord Rumsshi, there should be no suspense in this battle now." Supreme Kai Gowasu seemed to have relaxed somewhat, but when he thought of Zamasu, who had died for the sake of upholding justice in the universe, his expression darkened.
God of Destruction Rumsshi flicked his elephant trunk and snorted. "The battle isn't over yet. Don't jump to conclusions."
Once upon a time, Gods of Destruction had been untouchable, domineering beings with few rivals in the universe. Yet now, he could only watch from afar, without even a chance to intervene. It was as though a volcano on the verge of eruption had been suppressed inside Rumsshi's heart, filling him with instability.
"Yes, you are right," Gowasu said agreeably.
"It's just a pity about this starry sky."
He shook his head and sighed inwardly. Only by dealing with Demigra and all the Dark Angels could they console the lives that had perished.
Just as the Supreme Kai and God
