"There were actually so many Dark Angels?!"
Chaya frowned deeply. The Dark Angels' plan was to create an entirely new world. Such an undertaking was earth-shattering, yet it was closely tied to his own interests. If the Dark Angels succeeded, wouldn't he gain another parallel counterpart?
That would severely hinder his progress toward the fourth level of the Realm of Gods.
Chaya raised his head, a fierce glint flashing through his eyes. The Dark Angels' plan absolutely could not succeed. For himself and for the entire universe, he could not allow the Dark Angels to have their way.
At this moment, Chaya would spare no cost to thwart the Dark Angels' plan.
At the same time, Chaya understood why he had felt so uneasy.
"If those Dark Angels succeed, I can forget about advancing to the fourth level of the Realm of Gods."
The requirements for a Time God to advance to the fourth level were exceptionally stringent. One had to merge all counterparts from every parallel spacetime into one. Even if another version of himself born after the creation of a parallel world might very well reach the Realm of Gods, the risk was far too great. Merging individuals was no simple matter; it required the complete union of soul, body, and realm. One misstep, and all previous efforts would be wasted, making it exceedingly difficult.
Moreover, the cultivation of a Time God had its own system of verification. Relying on the Supreme Kais' Potara Earrings would not work either.
"Chaya, are the Dark Angels really that powerful?" Selyne had never seen a Dark Angel, so she asked.
Chaya gave a bitter smile. "More than powerful. Every one of them is as strong as Whis, at least at the fourth level of the Realm of Gods."
And that did
