"Lord King Kai, what's wrong? Are you sick?" Son Goku asked curiously as he watched North Kai twitch nonstop.

"This is bad, Goku. Lord God of Destruction is heading this way. What are we going to do? Right, when you meet Lord God of Destruction later, you mustn't be disrespectful. Any disrespect toward him could cost you your life."

Even in his nervousness, North Kai did not forget to remind Son Goku.

From the perspective of mortals or King Kais, the God of Destruction's actions might be described as capricious, reckless, and indiscriminately murderous. But once one reached a certain level and gained a broader perspective, no longer confined to a single universe, one's attitude toward such matters naturally changed.

For example, in Whis and Kusu's eyes, all living things were no different from cosmic dust. Life and inanimate matter held equal value; both emergence and extinction were part of the rules. Though the God of Destruction's actions were capricious, in their eyes, he was upholding the fairness of the world quite well, bestowing equal destruction upon all things.

"God of Destruction? I feel like I've heard that term somewhere..."

Son Goku shook his head. It sounded familiar, but he could not remember where he had heard it.

Just as he was about to ask again, brilliant, multicolored rays of light flashed. A long-eared creature dressed like an ancient Egyptian pharaoh and another red-and-black figure with exceptionally tall hair appeared before them.

God of Destruction Beerus and Whis descended onto North Kai Planet.

At the sight of the two, Son Goku let out an "Ah!" He remembered where he had heard of the God of Destruction.

The bracelets and belt worn by that purple, long-eared creature were exactly like Chaya's. That alone would not have been enough for Son Goku
