Background / History

Mikoto is Uchiha Feng's granddaughter and Uchiha Sheng's daughter. When Katsuo receives his Academy nomination, Feng assigns him to protect her from bullying; Mikoto initially rejects the idea that she needs protection. 4 71

At the Ninja Academy, she is sent to ensure Katsuo registers for school. Though initially angry with him, she becomes worried about him and increasingly confused by her feelings toward him. 7 When Fugaku and his companions confront them, Katsuo defends Mikoto; his composure helps her recover from her fear. 10 She later apologizes for fearing that he would be hurt, while Katsuo teasingly challenges the idea that he is merely her bodyguard. 17
