Britain's destruction had nothing to do with Merlin, but Merlin had clearly known how Britain would develop afterward and had failed to warn anyone. To the Knights of the Round Table, that was the greatest problem. After all, he had been Britain's Court Magician at the time, enjoying Britain's patronage. If Merlin had given them warning, the civil war would never have erupted.
"Let's go to Uruk first."
After roughly explaining Uruk's situation to Mash, Ritsuka, and Roman, Merlin suggested that they head to Uruk to meet King Gilgamesh before discussing what came next. What Merlin said about Uruk was more or less the same as Enkidu's account. At least, he had not deceived Mash and the others on that matter.
"Merlin, you promised me." When Merlin proposed going to Uruk, Anna, standing beside him, spoke up. She seemed unwilling to go there.
"Anna, while I can take you to the temple now, you should know that getting inside won't be easy. Before that, we need to go to Uruk and gather some information."
"All right." After hearing Merlin's words and considering them for a moment, Anna nodded in agreement. For Anna, the reason she had appeared in this Singularity was to deal with another ugly version of herself. Just like the tradition of killing one's master in the Naruto world, in the Moon World, killing oneself was practically mainstream.
"Although there's no dock like Enkidu mentioned, we can indeed travel all the way to Uruk from here. First, though, we need a boat."
There was no dock in the cedar forest as Enkidu had described, and naturally no boat either. But the river was real. Under Merlin's direction, Anna, Mash, and Ritsuka prepared to use the cedar trees to build a raft.
