Roman, Da Vinci, and the others were neither fools nor saints. In this suddenly reappearing Singularity, they naturally could not unconditionally trust a Servant who refused to reveal his True Name. If he disclosed it and they knew his identity, that would be another matter.
A Heroic Spirit's True Name could reveal many things, such as their alignment, strength, and whether they were trustworthy. While a Heroic Spirit needed to keep their True Name hidden from enemies, there was no need to conceal it from their own side.
Whether someone was trustworthy was especially crucial. Different Servants inspired different levels of trust. Take the King Arthur, for example. Anyone familiar with her legend knew that she was an exceptionally upright knight and could be trusted without concern. But what about Mephistopheles? That one took pleasure in betraying his Master.
Shinjuku Archer would not reveal his True Name, so who knew what kind of personality he had? Was he aligned with justice or evil? They only had not confronted him directly because they needed his information for now.
"There are too many enemies."
"No problem. We're plotting an escape route right away. It'll be ready soon."
After discovering that Mash, Ritsuka, and Shinjuku Archer were in a difficult situation, Roman immediately began scanning the surrounding map and preparing their retreat. Retreating during a battle, especially in a modern city, required familiarity with the terrain. Otherwise, they could easily run into a dead end and be trapped like turtles in a jar.
"Done. Begin the retreat." Roman sent the map he had scanned to Mash.
"Understood."
With a sweeping barrage from Shinjuku Archer's strange firearm, the three of them managed to break away from the battlefield. Though the enemies pursued them relentlessly, Mash and the others used the streets and alleys to
